Sebastian said good bye to Larissa and Demeteria as Esmeralda and Yolanda finished loading up the cart. When the good byes were all said the Alexious came out to see Yolanda and Esmeralda, Sebastian with a couple bags.
"Okay," Larissa said, wiping her face to get rid of her tears. "You're off... Good bye, Esmeralda the Good and Yolanda the Queen of Thieves."
Esmeralda smiled. "Bye Larissa." Esmeralda and Larissa hugged as Yolanda and Demetria said good bye. Yolanda then said good bye to Larissa as Esmeralda knelt down in front of Demetria.
"Hey," Esmeralda said. "So I heard you're a really smart girl, huh? And at only thirteen, right?"
Demetria nodded with a smile. "Yeah. Larissa says that I could one day work at the Library of Alexandria. You know, down in Egypt." Demetria lost her smile. "But I doubt it. I'm a girl. They wouldn't let me work there."
"I'm a girl. And I just saved your village from a nest of harpies."
Demetria laughed at this.
"Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can't do things. And if somebody says no, within reason, be stubborn and don't take no for an answer. But if you want to reproduce with somebody and they say no back off. Got it?"
Demetria nodded, her eyes tearing up as she smiled. "Yeah. Yeah I got it. Thank you? Esmeralda. You're my hero."
Esmeralda smiled. "Don't thank me. I'm just being a decent human being."
Esmeralda and Demetria hugged.
"Take care of my brother for me," Demetria said.
"Of course."
Meanwhile, Yolanda and Larissa were watching them.
"Does she know?" Larissa asked.
"No," Yolanda said sadly even though she was smiling. "No, it's not time... I need time... The last person I loved...broke my heart...and I don't wanna give her that opportunity..."
"But she seems like a nice person!"
Yolanda shook her head. "So did he. He broke my heart anyway... I just need some time is all... I'll tell her then..."
"She's trying to save all of Greece. What if she dies before you can tell her?"
Yolanda clenched her jaw. "Then I guess I just won't let her die."
After the rest of the good byes, Esmeralda, Triana, Yolanda, and Sebastian (or the "Great Greek Gang", as Yolanda called them) left the small village, going on to something greater.

"How's the traveling life workin' out for ya?" Yolanda asked Sebastiam, who was in the back of the cart.
"We've literally been on the road for five minutes," Sebastian said. "I did more than that yesterday."
Esmeralda widened her eyes like "Oh shit he really just sassed Yolanda".
Yolanda smirked. "I like you, Bastian."
"Really?" Esmeralda asked with a frown. "I almost expected you to yell at him."
Yolanda laughed. "Nah. He's cool. I like him."
Esmeralda looked back at Sebastian and laughed. "Looks like Triana does too." Triana was sitting on Sebastian's lap, purring as he pet her.
"Glad to see I'm already part of the gang," Sebastian said with a smile.

The sun had set and they were still on the road. Esmeralda had gotten tired and decided to rest her head on Yolanda's shoulder so she could get some sleep. Just as she got comfy and closed her eyes (Yolanda half-smiling down at her as she did so) Esmeralda heard a voice.
"Esmeralda?"
Esmeralda's eyes shot open in anger. "Yes Sebastian?" she asked with a blank expression.
"What's your name?"
Esmeralda turned her head to look at Sebastian with a tired frown. "You already know my name. It's Esmeralda." She turned her head back around and rested it on Yolanda's shoulder.
"No. I meant the rest of your name. You know. Last, middle, not necessarily in that order?"
Esmeralda stared at the road in front of her. Her mouth was slightly open and her eyes were tearing up. "Wow... I haven't used that in years..."
"You know, you don't have to answer if you don't want t-"
"May. Um...Esmeralda May Xanthis...daughter of Marjorie and Ichiro..."
Yolanda stared at Esmeralda with her jaw slightly dropped. "That name... Your name...it's beautiful..."
"And May," Sebastian said in awe. "I've never heard that name before."
"The gods made it up," Esmeralda said with a sad smile. "My parents they...they went to the Oracle of Delphi when my mom was pregnant. They wanted the future predicted. They asked the Oracle about whether or not I would live and everything because that was their biggest fear. And the Oracle said that I would indeed live. And if they named their daughter Esmeralda May...she would achieve great things... So that's part of why I wanted to...to save Greece... For my mom and dad..."
"Wow..." Yolanda said. She was silent. "Yolanda Stephanie. That's my name."
"Sebastian Triton," Sebastian added. "No specific reason. A tribute to Poseidon and Triton. That's about it."
Esmeralda nodded sleepily with a smile on her face. She put her head back down on Yolanda's shoulder.
"So Esmeralda -"
Esmeralda wouldn't let Sebastian finish his sentence. She quickly turned to look at him after she opened her eyes. "Imma go all Egyptian on your ass if you don't shut the fuck up. Got it?"
Sebastian was leaning back, his jaw dropped. "Egyptian?"
"Yeah, they had those slaves three hundred years ago that they whipped? Those people that believe in a single deity? Who crossed the Red Sea? Imma be the Egyptians if you don't let me sleep. ...I don't mean to be rude. I'm just tired... This is the nicest I can be when I'm tired."
Sebastian smiled. "Nah. It's alright. I'm getting tired anyway. And I'm used to living with two girls."
Esmeralda smiled as Yolanda laughed. Esmeralda and Sebastian then went to sleep.
