Esmeralda asked Larissa what was the best way to get a message around town after she came back with her drink.

Larissa shrugged. "Usually if you get an attractive woman to yell 'Hey everyone! Look at me!' that tends to work. I mean, you're pretty. You could get people's attention. A lot of people come in the inn so you could just yell right outside there."

Esmeralda smiled. "Perfect!"

~~~~
Esmeralda walked outside of the inn, Yolanda following her with Triana in her arms. Yolanda leaned against the wooden beam outside the inn so she wouldn't fall over.
"Hey everyone!" Esmeralda yelled. "Look at me!"
At first it was only men that turned their heads, but then some women and children did too.
"Thank you!" Esmeralda yelled again. "Now, I know about your harpy problem! I can try and help! But only if you want me to!"
"Oh please!" A young woman said. "The harpies killed my husband! I don't want them go kill my children too! I hope you succeed, young miss."
"Anybody else?!"
The young man that Esmeralda had saved earlier stepped forward, then yelled, "She saved my life! I think that she could help us. We've tried and tried but we're getting nowhere! I think this stranger is what we need."
It was pretty soon afterwards that everybody started agreeing with the young man and chanting, "STRAN-GER! STRAN-GER!"
"My name is Esmeralda!" Esmeralda yelled. "And I will help you!"
Everybody cheered then chanted, "ES-MER-ALDA! ES-MER-ALDA!"
Esmeralda looked back at Yolanda and smiled. Yolanda smiled back. Esmeralda was finally getting her wish.
~~~~

Esmeralda went to the stables with Yolanda to change into her armor.

"You know," Yolanda said as she had her back leaning on the door of the stables, "you shouldn't have told those men that you were going to change in here."

Esmeralda smiled. "Meh! It's fine! I can fend them off if need be."

Yolanda chuckled. "Ain't that the truth."

"Oh! Yolanda!"

"Yes, Essy?"

Esmeralda smirked. "Could you get your girlfriend to help me figure out where the harpies are hiding?"

Yolanda blinked, confused of who she was talking about. "My...my what?"

"Your girlfriend. You know. That cute bartender, Larissa."

"Oh! Oh, no, uh, she's not the one I confessed to liking."

Esmeralda raised an eyebrow. "Really? Then who were you talking about?"

"Oh, uh, just some other cute girl that was in the inn... I tried to talk to her, but she was with her husband, so...yeah...didn't work out..."

"Oh," Esmeralda said, pouting her lips. "I'm sorry about that."

Yolanda smiled weakly. "Don't be. It's not like it's your fault or anything. But yeah. I'll still ask Larissa if she can help us with the harpies."

Esmeralda smiled. "Thanks Landa. I owe you one."

"It's on me, Es."

~~~~
Larissa had told Yolanda that the harpies nested out in the woods north of the village. Yolanda thanked Larissa, then gave Triana to her to take care of. Esmeralda thanked Yolanda for asking Larissa, then went to say good bye when Yolanda stopped her.
