Esmeralda was silent. "Oh," she finally said. Titania had just finished telling Esmeralda her story. About Christopher and Xenos.
"Titania... Just because Arsenio murdered your husband doesn't mean that you get to kill innocent people!" Esmeralda yelled at Titania.
"But this deserves justice!" Titania yelled back. "He was murdered because of that wicked sonofabitch-"
"And yet you're killing multiple people!" Esmeralda shot up out of her seat as she yelled. "You are becoming just like Arsenio!"
"But he killed my husband! I have to kill him! And these people are lying to me about where he is!"
"Oh, so your son froze to death, right? So that means that you wanna kill Khione too? The goddess of freakin' snow!"
"You don't understand! You don't know what it's like!"
"I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE PEOPLE THAT YOU LOVE! I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE SOME OF THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THIS GODS DAMN WORLD THAT CARE ABOUT YOU! NO, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE A LOVER OR CHILD! BUT I DO KNOW HOW MUCH IT FUCKING HURTS TO LOSE SOMEBODY!"
Titania stared at Esmeralda. "Well... It seems like that...that we both lost people... Right...I forgot..."
"Yeah. Now...now I guess that you're a bitch. And an evil one at that."
"Yeah? Well it looks like you're a bitch too. But...a good one... You have five minutes for you and your friend to leave. If you don't leave before those five minutes we attack."
Esmeralda gave Titania a deadly stare. Like she would kill her if she moved a single muscle. "You better hope I don't see you again. Because I will hurt you. Don't you doubt that."
"I wouldn't dream of it."
"And those captives you have? You better let them go!"

"Come on," Esmeralda said sternly as she exited the tent. "We're leaving now, Landa."
"Yeeaah, I figured as much."
Esmeralda and Yolanda walked away.
And that's when their journey really began.
