Esmeralda dropped her bag of food. "You...you guys are dating now?!" she yelled at at Petros and Sebastian. Her and Yolanda had just gotten back to the camp from the market when they saw the two walking and holding hands. When they questioned them they explained what had happened.
"Ummm..." Petros began. "As of five minutes ago, yes."
Yolanda smiled. "Oh my gods! That's so awesome guys! Congratulations!"
Petros blushed. He stammered as he tried to say 'thanks'. He eventually gave up and just gave them a shy smile.
Sebastian smiled shyly too, his cheeks reddening slightly. "Thanks guys... So hey, I'm just curious, but when do you guys wanna get into relationships? You know, if you decide to at all."
Yolanda shrugged. "I don't know... I mean, the last person I liked...well, rather, the last person I was with...he got me arrested... It was Gino."
"The King of Thieves?" Petros asked.
"The very same." Yolanda nodded. "Now he's an outlaw to both his own people and all of Greece... It's the thieves' code. We don't rat each other out... And...I don't know. It's just kinda hard to trust people after that..."
Esmeralda looked at Yolanda with wide eyes. "I'd never rat you out." Yolanda looked up at Esmeralda. "Even if you don't believe me. I never would..."
Yolanda blushed slightly, but moved her hair in front of her face slightly to cover it. "Th-thanks, Essie..."
Esmeralda smiled. "No problem, Landa."
Petros smirked as he watched Yolanda and Esmerlada. Sebastian glared at him, and Petros bit his lip. Petros then spoke so he would stop smirking.
"Hey, Yolanda? I thought that you liked somebody from my village. You know, when we were at the market?"
Yolanda widened her eyes slightly. When they were at the market, she kept staring at Esmeralda and smiling. She thought that nobody noticed her...
"Um, y-yeah..." Yolanda stuttered. "I didn't think you noticed."
"Who?" Esmeralda asked with a raised eyebrow, scared of what the answer might be.
"I think she was selling some pomegranates or something," Petros said.
Yolanda nodded, her cheeks reddening. "Yeah. Yeah, totally."
Esmeralda's stomach sunk. "Oh. Oh okay. That-that's nice." Esmeralda faked a smile. She might've been in love with Yolanda, but if she couldn't have her she at least wanted her to be happy.
"You too, Meralda," Sebastian said.
Esmeralda frowned at Sebastian.
"You liked somebody in my village, too."
Esmeralda took a deep breath and straightened up. She was that obvious, huh...?
"Oh really?" Yolanda said, putting on a fake smirk. "Who was he?"
"She, actually," Sebastian clarified. Esmerlada's eyes widened. "And she was the blacksmith. Well...the blacksmith's daughter."
Yolanda also faked a smile as she felt her chest tighten up. "Oh! Well, that's great!"
Esmeralda nodded. "Th-thanks, Landa... So! I need to, um, put my food away."
"Yeah, me too," Yolanda said. The two ladies walked away from the conversation in opposite directions.

"Why're they so stupid?!" Petros asked to Sebastian as they were setting up one of the tents. "I mean, seriously! Those two are fucking idiots!"
