Lydia watched from over my shoulder as I logged into my YouNow account, a bright smile on her face as I typed in the pass word.
"This is so cool." She breathed, causing a shiver to run down my spine. I chuckled lightly at her, and tweeted out;
🔴LIVE ON YOUNOW! I have some important news to tell you guys.
I tweeted it quickly and set my phone down. My palms began to sweat and I rubbed them against the fabric on my pants. I know that my supporters were okay with me liking Lydia, but that was before I was dating her.
She rested her arms on top of the table, leaning her head against them. "You ok?" She asked, her voice soft as she sent me a reassuring smile.
I nodded my head, and she grabbed my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Fine." I simply replied, and before I could click, 'go live,' Lydia walked over to her bed, and sat down.
I talked to my viewers for a good five minutes before they started to notice the change in scenery.
The view my broadcast usually gave off was the stunning sight of my wall and the mirror attached to my dresser. But now, it showed off Lydia's beautifully decorated walls, and brown record player that sat on her white dresser. "Guys, I'm not at my house." I finally said, seeing as they were all freaking out about my location.
I looked over my shoulder to see Lydia mindlessly scribbling in her sketch book. She was lost in a world of her own, tuning out everything except for the sounds of her pencil lead marking the nice paper underneath it.
I looked back at the laptop in front of me, and ran my sweaty hands through my hair. "Ok guys, remember a few weeks ago when I told you about a girl named Lydia?" I asked. Most of the responses confirmed my question, and out of the corner of my eye I could see Lydia pick her head up at the mention of her name.
Once she realized that I was just talking to my viewers, she lowered her head and went back to her sketch book. Shaking my head, I continued. "Well...me and her are kinda...sorta dating." I finally spit out.
I read through the comments, my heart breaking a little more every time I read over a bad one. There were plenty of good comments too, but I just hated that they were hating on this beautiful and amazing girl sitting about five feet away from me.
Pushing all that aside, I called her over. "Lydia." I said, and her head picked up, a light smile gracing her lips as she waited for me to say something. "Come here." I continued, scooting over in the wooden chair I was sitting in, and patting the space I had made for her.
Without a word, she walked over to me, and sat down. She leaned her elbows against the dark wood of her desk, her smile never leaving her face as my viewers continued to comment. "So this is Lydia..." I explained, looking at her to give her a chance to say something.
She waved at the computer screen, muttering a high pitched, 'hi!' As she did this. Her tone was happy as she rested her chin in the palms of her hands. Even with the bad things being said about her, the smile on her face was still just as bright as it was a few seconds ago, causing one to spread across my face too.
"I really like her guys, and I don't expect her to be leaving anytime soon." I said, my arm finding its way around her waist. She turned her head to look at me, her lips pressed into a thin lined smile as her cheeks turned a bright red color.
"Me either." She said, and planted a quick kiss against my cheek. I could feel the heat rushing up to my face as I fished my phone out of my pocket. My fingers clicked on the 'Parlor' app.
"Ok guys, time for parlor." I said happily, removing my hand from around Lydia's waist as I rubbed my hands together in anticipation.
"Parlor!" Lydia cried excitedly. "Me and Finn used to go on this all the time." She laughed, reminiscing in her old memories as I smiled over at her.
"That's cool, I like to pretend like I'm a seventeen year old girl named Karlee Steel." I explained, running my hands through my hair as Lydia laughed.
"Yes!" She cheered. "Let's prank call some people!"

When I got home I realized my mom was still at work, leaving me and my sister alone for the rest of the day.
"Where were you all day?" Kalynn asked suddenly as we both ate away at our bowls of cereal.
I shrugged my shoulders, not bothering to answer her. I knew that if I told her the truth about hanging out with Lydia, she would run and tell mom. I would never be able to even say her name after that.
"We're you with your girlfriend?" She said in a sing-song voice as she placed her now empty bowl in the sink.
I lifted my head up as the words left her mouth, my eyes widened in shock. "How-?"
"I'm not stupid Weston." She laughed, sitting back down. "I see you texting her all the time." She explained. I dropped the spoon back into my bowl, putting my head in my hands as I rubbed my eyes with my palms.
"Great. Just great." I sighed. I could hear the soft chuckles escaping Kaylnn's mouth, causing me to look up at her. "What?" I asked her rather harshly. I didn't need to take any chances with my mom finding out about Lydia and I. I just got her, and I wasn't ready to feel alone just yet.
"Relax." She said. "I'm not gonna say anything." She laughed, like this was all a joke. I groaned, because it was far from a joke.
I couldn't risk my mom finding out, because if she did I wouldn't be able to see Lydia anymore. I'm not even supposed to see her now.
"It's not funny!" I yelled back, slamming my hands against the table, causing light stings to shoot through my palms.
"If mom finds out I won't be allowed to hang out with Lydia anymore." I explained, standing up in front of Kaylnn. Coming face to face with her.
"I really like her Kaylnn! I'm not even supposed to see her. Don't say anything, ok?" I waited for an answer, but Kaylnn didn't say anything. She continued to stare at me with narrowed eyes and a slightly open mouth, as if my outburst shocked her.
"Please?" I asked, my voice cracking slightly, causing Kaylnn's face to soften, and she nodded her head.
"I promise." She said, sending me a smile. Before she could get sentimental on me, she went back to being my older sister.
With an eye roll, she turned on her heel. Her hair whipped around her shoulder, smaking me in the face lightly. "You guys are like Romeo and Juliet." She said, making a small blush creep on my cheeks, and my finger tips tingle.
Before she could leave the room completely, she turned back around, and said; "let's just hope it doesn't end in tragedy."

A/N: is that for shadowing I sense?🤔So today my friend Daveon brought a Donald Trump poster to school and carried it around in the hallway all day😂😂 funniest thing I've seen all year👌🏻
I'm sorry I didn't update last week, my grandpa was rushed to the hospital and we were told he isn't expected to live long, and I offered to write his eulogy. I've just been spending so much time on it.
