I started panting as I tried to use my fire to burn the door down.

The closest that I have gotten so far is a little tiny spark. But sadly, that is no were near enough to burn a whole door down. I just need to concentrate, right?

Why am I unable to use my fire? It's like something is blocking me from doing so. Like there's something in this room that is making me unable to use any of the powers that I have gotten so far. But what is it?!

The door started slowly opening again.

"Why am I here?" I asked, glaring at Duilio as he cheerfully walked into the cell-like thing that I am trapped in.

"You need to figure that out yourself, my dear niece." he smirked.

"How? Where do I start?!" I spat out at him angrily. "I have no clues! I don't even know what I am!"

"There's really no need to shout," he grabbed my neck gruffly, forcing me to stand up. "I guess there spell did work, really well too."

"What spell?!" I snarled, pushing him away from me the best I could. "Who's spell?!"

"That is another thing that you must figure out for yourself." He chortled.

Warmth suddenly started to sprout from my fingers, and it felt like something cool was oozing down my hands.

I looked down and saw little flames twitching around in my tightly fisted hands. The shackles around my wrists were melting and trickling down into my fire.

"Dam it!" he bit out angrily. "Those were so post to be fire proof!"

I looked up at him and smirked.

"How stupid are you?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. "I thought everyone knew that once any type of metal reaches a certain temperature, it melts."

He growled at me as he went to punch me, but I blocked it with a wall of fire. I smiled as I heard the sizzling of flesh.

I calmly closed my eyes as I imagined the wall of fire surrounding Duilio.

When I opened my eyes I felt them change as I glared at my uncle.

"This time I will make sure that you are dead," I smiled with a deadly look overtaking my features. "And this time, you will not come back, you will stay dead."

Romano's P.O.V

Where could she be? I had her sleep in longer so she wouldn't get hurt, and now she has been kidnaped because of me.

This is completely my fault. If I hadn't of left her after she had fallen back asleep to help everyone train, then she would still be here, with me.

Everyone that had originally agreed to help us backed out due to them being frightened by the unexpected explosion. So now it's up to only Flame's siblings, Johnathan and his pack, Victoria, Baldivino, the three hellhounds, and me to find my precious mate.

"I think I know where she is." Blade whispered braking me out of my thoughts.

My head shot out of my hands. "Where?"

"Somewhere on beacon hill." Vivian answered.

"Well then let's go find her." I gritted out standing up from my pitiful state on the chare, grabbing my jacket and started to walk outside.

"I think it might be best to think of a plan first." Dagger called out to me as they caught up to me.

"Get my mate back and give the idiot that took her a slow and painful death, along with all of his idiotic helpers." I hissed.

"I've never seen him so angry before." Victoria whispered in astonishment.

"His mate was kidnaped," Vivian murmured. "Not being able to have your mate by your side does odd things to someone."

"What kind of odd things?" Victoria asked quietly.

"It makes you do irrational things," Vivian replied. "For me, with my first mate, it was depression because he had, not only beaten me, but also rejected me."

Johnathan growled at the mention of Vivian's first mate.

"And for me, anger because my mate was taken away from me." I bit out.

If it wasn't for me she wouldn't be kidnaped, so it's up to me to get her back and make sure that she is safe and sound for the rest of her life, even if it costs me my life.
