Everyone else went back to Flames house, but I stayed out to keep looking for her.
This is my fault, so I need to fix it as soon as I can.
"Flame!" I called out into the darkening forest on Beacon Hill.
"Romano?" someone called back questioningly in a tiered voice. "Is that you?"
I felt my heart speed up at the sound of her voice.
Suddenly, something talked me to the ground, the sparks told me it was the one that I was out here looking for.
"Flame." I breathed.
"I missed you." She smiled before kissing me.
"I missed you too, my beloved." I laughed slightly.
"Are you OK?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she replied.
"Where were you? Who had you?" I rushed out. "What had you?"
"Duilio held me prisoner in a dark room." She breathed out. "But obviously, I was able to escape with a few minor injuries."
"yeah." I smiled softly down at her.
I gently held her waist since she looks like she is going to collapse onto the ground any minute. What happened to her while he had her captive? She has dark, blotchy bruises on both of her cheeks, as well as dark bags under her eyes, and she looks like she lost some weight.
"Flame-" blade started to shout as we walked into her home.
"Enough of the shouting," She growled slightly. "Please."
"Aww." He pouted. "Why?"
"I have a headache." She answered.
"I think her vampire side is starting to come out," I added. "They usually get cranky and have really bad headaches. It's all a part of their body getting used to their vampire self."
"Fun!" dagger quipped sarcastically. "A cranky flame. Yay!"
Flame just growled under her breath.
"So-" Johnathan started.
"I'm going to go rest, braking out of there took more energy than I had expected it to take." Flame said getting out of my arms and marching off to her room.
"Oh, and Romano?" flame called from the top of the stairs, leaning the railing, her hair in her face like a veil.
"Yes, love?" I asked back.
"You need to stop blaming yourself," she answered. "It isn't your fault, I didn't give much of a fight, and I wanted to be captured so I would figure out where there hideout is, and so I would be able to kill Duilio."
I looked at the ground feverishly as she giggled. Victoria started to laugh slightly as well.
"So it's all over now?" blade asked. "Like, completely?"
"Yes, I believe so." Flame sighed, leaning into my chest.
"I hope so," Vivian murmured. "I hope so."
"This whole time you've been facing Duilio and his men, and you didn't think to tell Spring, Mark, or me." Flames older brother, phantom, said with his eye's closed. "First I think everything is normal, and then I find out that you are at war with Duilio by you being kidnaped, and no one able to find you for a week!"
"I didn't tell spring or mark because I didn't want to worry them, and honestly I didn't tell you for three reasons." My mate explained. "One I thought that I didn't need your help, two I didn't want you to worry, and three I was still slightly worried that you would back out and disappear, again."
Phantom sighed, massaging his forehead. "I told you why I left, and if I'm guessing correctly, you killed the reason."
"If you mean to say that you think I may have killed Duilio while escaping from his evil, bloody clutches," Flame smiled softly, looking at the ground before her eyes shot up to her big brothers. "Then you are correct."
"I hope you do realize that Duilio's men will be coming after you." Phantom said looking at her with skeptical eyes.
"Actually, no they won't," Flame smiled. "They literally thanked me for freeing them from him."
"But what about his son?" he asked.
"Flame, your eyes." Victoria gasped making everyone's eyes snap towards where she was standing with Baldovino hugging her from behind.
"Hmm?" Flame hummed in question. "What about them?"
"One is black with red specks, and the other is red with black specks." Victoria answered.
"Oh," flame mumbled. "That."
