It's been a few months after the war has ended and it is now the end of summer, and honestly it has been very peaceful. And I was finally able to find what I was looking for after so much, but now I just need to put it to usage, and I am very nervous. What if she says no?
"Romano?" I heard my beautiful Flame bellow. "Are you OK?"
"Yes, love, I'm fine." I replied kissing her cheek.
"Are you sure?" she asked.
"Yes, I am." I said.
"Come on! Let's go!" Ashly bounced.
"Were coming, Ashly," I said. "Just give us a moment, how about you go get in the car, OK?"
"OK!" Ashly cheered.
"I like how the two of you have bonded," flame muttered once Ashly ran back off. "It's cute."
Today is the last day of summer, and flame's older brother, Phantom, and her sister-in-law, moon, are throwing a little party for us. I plan on proposing to flame tonight, and I will not back out.
Moon knew that I was going to propose to flame soon, so she brought the idea of a small party for us. I owe her a great deal of gratitude for all her help with this.
"Romo! We're here!" Ashly excitedly cheered, braking me out of my thoughts as I realize that we were already at flame's big brothers house.
"That we are, ash, that we are." Flame breathed.
As soon as we opened Ashly's door, she shot off running towards the door of the house.
"Well, she seems exited." I commented.
"Yeah, she does." Flame murmured.
"Moon." Flame smiled, hugging her sister-in-law. "How are you doing? How are the twin's treating you?"
"I'm fine, the little ones are, well, little." Moon answered. "So how are the two of you?"
"I'm fine." Flame replied looking at me and smiling.
"And I'm good as long as the love of my life is good." I said kissing flame's cheek.
"You two are really cute together, you know that right?" moon sighed.
"We know," flame laughed softly. "No one will let us forget."
I checked to make sure that I had the box, with the ring still inside it. I opened it to make sure it was still there.
Sure enough, the little silver ring with a small bat on it and a black gem as the body of the bat was still there. And now for the hard part.
"Flame, even the tiniest of sines of love from you would mean everything to me, just a small, quick, little peck on the cheek from you would mean the world to me, and a kiss from you would mean the whole galaxy to me." I nervously uttered looking at the love of my life, getting down on one knee. "Without you, even if it's just for a single day, shatters my world into little shards, just waiting around for you to pick them up and put them back together in their places. Without you, I have nothing to live for, and with you I have my own world to live for, which is you, and only you. I will never love any one like I love you."
Flame gasped and brought her hands up to cover her mouth. Tears rimed her beautiful eye's making them glisten in the diming sun.
I took the little black box out and opened it, showing it to her.
Then I said what I have been preparing myself to get out with the speech. "Will you marry me?"
The love of my life then said the one word that will change both our lives forever.
"Yes," she nodded vigorously. "Yes!"
Flame's P.O.V.
"Flame, even the tiniest of sines of love from you would mean everything to me, just a small, quick, little peck on the cheek from you would mean the world to me, and a kiss from you would mean the whole galaxy to me." Romano said nervously, getting down on one knee, is he doing what I think he's doing? "Without you, even if it's just for a single day, shatters my world into little shards, just waiting around for you to pick them up and put them back together in their places. Without you, I have nothing to live for, and with you I have my own world to live for, which is you, and only you. I will never love any one like I love you."
I gasped in shock.
He took a small black box out of his pocket and opened it, showing me a ring with a silver bat with a black jeweled body on it.
Then I said what I have been preparing myself to get out with the speech. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes," I smiled with tears in my eyes. "Yes!"
Romano immediately stood up and spun me around, kissing me, and sliding the beautiful ring onto my ring finger.
"I love you, my little Fiancée." Romano murmured in my ear.
"I love you too, but you may have to go back on your promise on not loving anyone like you love me some day." I whispered into my new fiancé's ear.
"What do you mean, love?" he asked tilting his head to the side in complete confusion.
"Well, what about our future children?" I laughed. "Aren't you going to love them like you love me?"
"That was so beautiful," an unknown guy said. "Just an absolutely beautiful moment.
I looked at the unknown guy weirdly. He was tall, had very dirty blond hair and was wearing a black shirt and pants, and had leather boots and a leather jacket on as well.
"I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but who are you?" I asked, as I snuggled as close as I could to my new fiancé.
"I'm Ivo Blood," He answered. "Duilio Blood's son."
