The sun beaming down on my face Is what woke me from my dreamless sleep.
The pain in my left leg returned, and It was excruciating. Grace had given me a baby monitor incase I needed something throughout the night, she also told me It was Edward's Idea, for someone who doesn't particularly like me he tends to often concern himself in situations that don't relate to him. He really can be just as stubborn as me. I don't know why It matters so much to him in the first place. I think he feels faulted some how, he seems like the type to always blame everything on himself.
"Grace?" I whispered pressing my lips against the baby monitor in fear of waking Mungo. I waited for a response, but quickly realized that It wasn't a walkie talkie. I doubted that she would be able hear me if I called from my room so decided to try and get up on my own.
I grabbed my crutches helping myself up, slightly wobbling while I struggled to put a slipper on my right foot. When I walked passed Mungo's crib I noticed he wasn't in it. I had a mini panic attack and went to search the house. When I got to the kitchen I noticed a note on the fridge.
Bella,
I took Mungo to the park so we wouldn't wake you. There is egg's in the fridge as well as bacon, or theres cereal in the cupboard, help yourself with whatever else you can find.

"Greaat.." I muttered to myself crumpling the note only to toss it on the table.
I decided on a small bowl of cereal.
*Knock* *Knock*
Did Grace lock herself out of the house? I slowly pulled myself up from the kitchen table and went to open the door. Instead on seeing my grandmother I was met by a much more beautiful face, it was Edward's.
"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" I asked slightly confused. I opened the door wider motioning for him to come in.
"It's 2:30 Bella, schools over"
"I slept all day?" It sounded like a question but it was more of a statement of shock.
"Apparently" Edward says checking me out, I looked down flushing when I notice I was still in my PJ's. I was dressed in plaid shorts and a oversized grey sweater and one bunny slipper.

"I have your school work" I huffed when he pulled out a large stack of worksheets and a few textbooks.
"If you don't mind can you carry that to the kitchen?"
"Sure" I turned slightly too fast impairing my balance, but of course Edward caught me before I could even notice I was falling.
"Thanks" I muttered 'walking' to the kitchen. "And here we are" I presented the small white kitchen.
"Lovely" He said setting down the stack of books. "If you need help with any of your homework let me know" I didn't think I would need much help but maybe in trig, that was one of my sore subjects but besides that I knew I was all set.
"I might need some help in trig...but I know you don't have that this semester so maybe I'll try and find myself a tuto-"
"Shh.. Bella I'm good with trig, I don't mind helping you" I internally sighed with relief, not wanting to bring another person into the mess I call my life.
I picked at my meal feeling a little self conscious with Edward's eyes watching my every move, so I got up and dumbed the rest of my meal down the garburator clicking it on.
"Can I get you anything while I'm up?"
"No thank you" he smiled, but his smile was clearly fake. Ugh what's with this boy. "So where's Grace?"
"She said she went to the park" I shrugged unraveling the note on the table I had earlier crumpled up.
"So how have you been?" I could actually see the sincerity behind his question.
"Well it's only been a day so there's not that much change... However I originally got up to find some sort of opiate but I got distracted" I flinched acknowledging the pain in my leg.
He got up and started to look around the kitchen. "I doubt you'll find them.. I've already lo-" before I could finish my sentence he had already found it. "Thanks" I took the pill chasing it with water.
"So would you like to start on some of your work?" I groaned but pulled the stack closer to me organizing each of my classes in different piles. Once I looked at the piles individually there wasn't as much work as I thought. I started off with biology because it was my strongest subject.
I ended up doing a few worksheets/questions from each subject, of course Edward put his two cents in because he is Mr. Perfect after all. Why is he always right?
There was a light knock at the door followed by it opening. "We're home" Grace walked through the the door with Mungo. I was definitely relived to see him but also angry for not being told that they were leaving.
"Welcome back" I mumbled a little annoyed. I knew Edward was going to make up an excuse to run off now, but truthfully I didn't want him to go. Yes he does annoy me -sometimes more than just "annoy"- but most of the time its all in good banter -I really hope I didn't just jinx his annoy-ability- I know he Isn't fond of me but if you were to take away all his irritability, I think he could be a lot more tolerable, maybe even likeable. He's just someone that I can talk to because with his short temper and uncontrollable mood swings he doesn't hesitate to tell it to me straight.
"Are you staying for dinner dear?" Gran asked Edward.
"No sorry, my father likes us to eat as a family" He had the strangest cometic look on his face when he said eat. "I think it might be best if I get going now actually"
"Of course.." I muttered sarcastically under my breath, Edward gave me a confused look as if he heard me but recovered quickly saying his goodbyes.
Im going to be doing a little time jump in the next chapter so I hope you don't mind! I'll try to upload as much as possible. I also seen that the majority of you want me to keep this book, so for the time being I will. I just don't want to put up half ass chapters. I know this chapter is dull, but I'm hoping the (little) time jump will help spice things up.
I've worked really hard on this book and I want it to proud of it so I'm going to try my best to prefect each chapter before I upload it. I want to try and steer clear from filler chapters, obviously there needs to be one or two every now and again, but I want to keep my book interesting.
I plan on rereading it and editing it soon, the plot will stay the same but some minor details will change. (so you won't have to worry about rereading it) that won't happen for a while so don't stress about it just yet!
I'm really excited that most of you were so supportive about me keeping the book even though I haven't had as much time for it as I would have wish I had. THANK YOU FOR CARING<3
