Chapter 6 - Grace

I awoke from an ear piercing scream, it was Mungo's. It wasn't the sound of hunger, or his need to be changed. It was the sound of pain, pure agony. I rushed over to him. He was curled into a ball screaming I wasn't sure what to do so I picked him up trying to comfort him. It didn't work. He needs to get to the hospital. I changed him quickly putting him into grey jogging pants, a black sweater and his yellow rain boots. I started banging on my door praying that Mr. Knight would let me take him to the hospital!

"What?!" He roared

"Mungo needs to go to the hospital now!" I've never talked this boldly to Mr. Knight, normally I would be terrified speaking to him this way but I wasn't. I needed to get help. Mr. Knight was taken back on how I spoke to him.

"You know I don't believe in hospitals"

"Listen to him. He's in agony. Please I'll do anything you want I promise but please we need to help him!" I cried he just stared at me thinking "please" I pleaded in a much weaker voice.

"Arg, I don't know about this Isabella,"

"Please" I said again this time there was tears running down my face. I couldn't handle his screams much longer.

"Fine!" He almost yelled "But you will be punished for your behaviour when you get home."

"Fine whatever you want. Please drive me we need too get there quickly!"  He just nodded and led me to the door. Quickly slipped on my imitation UGG's and follow him out to the truck.

He dropped me off at the hospital making sure that I knew the risks I was taking by coming here, hoping to change my mind. I was dead set on getting him help and there was nothing that could change my mind. I think he knew this but couldn't help but try.

I rushed through the hospital doors with screaming Mungo!

"Please somebody help me!" I cried

In a instant there was a beautiful Doctor standing next to me he had pale skin, blonde hair and gold eyes. Why was there so many people with gold eyes in this town? I didn't even know that was a thing. But he was very attractive, how does anyone get any work done with a man like this walking around.

"Hello I'm Dr. Cullen," Ah that explains it. "Miss I'm going to need you to calm down, and tell me what happened"

"Well I woke up and he was screaming and he hasn't stopped I don't know what to do please help him" I cried again.

"I'm going to need to take him and run a few test okay? Please wait in the waiting area, Lizzie will escort you there" he said taking Mungo from me,
"What's his name?"

"His names Mungola," I stated in a small voice. Then both the beautiful Doctor and Mungo was gone.

"Follow me" Lizzie smiled. Leading me to what I assume to be the waiting room. I was so scared for Mungo I don't know what I would do if something happened to him.

"He's going to be fine" she assured me.

It felt like I was in the waiting room for hours. I could sit still, when I wasn't pacing, I was bouncing in my chair fiddling with my thumbs.

"Hello I'm Grace" she smiled. Grace was a cute little old lady she had white hair and a crinkled face, she reminded me of my grandma swan.
