Chapter 10

Cody's P.O.V. finally. I put the link to characters but I just realized you can't copy it so the website is the external link.

Cody's P.O.V.

I'm literally laughing my ass of Valerie looks really mad.

"That was not nice," yelled Valerie.

"You have to admit it was a good prank and really funny," I managed in between laughs. Valerie gave me a look.

"Whatever," snapped Valerie. She sat down next to her beach bag.

"Race you to the food stand," I said.

"Oh its on," exclaimed Valerie

"Ready set go!" I yelled. Valerie and I sprinted towards the food stand I'm beating her.

"Yes! I won!" I shouted with my arms up.

"You know you only won because I let you."

"Whatever you say love," I said.

"Okay, what do you want?" I asked.

"Coke."

"All righty," I said. I bought two Cokes, I handed them to Valerie and rushed to the bathroom.

"Okay, i'm back." Valerie handed me my Coke. I took it and opened it it decided to attack my face because there is Coke all over my face and hair. Valerie's face is red I think she'll die of laughter.

"Payback is my new best friend," Valerie shouted. I picked up my towel and cleaned my face.

"I should've seen that coming. Guess my ninja skills aren't working so well."

"Guess they're not," said Valerie.

"Come on, we're going swimming," I said. I grabbed Valerie's hand and led her to the water.

"So Ryan why doesn't he live with his dad?" I asked. I threw Valerie the football.

"He hates his dad's new wife." She told me about his mom and how Ryan's dad is a jerk.

"Lets grab a bite to eat," I said.

"Okay, where to?" asked Valerie.

"I don't know we'll find a place." I put my shirt and my shoes on. Valerie did the same.

"There's a Wendy's is over there if you want to go," I said.

"Yeah, lets eat there," said Valerie. We walked inside I ordered a cheese burger, large fries and a Sprite. Valerie ordered a chicken sandwich, medium fries and a Sprite. We took a table by the corner.

"So tell  me about your sister and brother," said Valerie.

"Well Tommy is the youngest he's obsessed with cartoons especially Sponge bob. Alli and I are very close she always has my back. I do almost everything with her red carpets, party's stuff like that."

"Sounds like fun having siblings. I'm only child although I have a partner in crime," said Valerie

"Amanda how did you guys meet?" I asked.

"Kindergarten but she also lives three houses away from me. Coolest thing is having your bff living near you," she said. I smiled at her there's something about her that makes me be carefree.

"Are you Cody Simpson?" asked a little girl around six or five years old.

"Yeah that's me."

"Can I take a picture with you?" asked the little

"Yeah sure sweetie." Her mom took a few pictures.

"Is that your girlfriend?" asked the little girl while pointing at Valerie.

"No she's just a friend, a very pretty friend," I said. She whispered something in my ear and left.

"What did she say?" asked Valerie.

"That I should ask you out because we would make a cute couple," I said.

"Little kids," said Valerie. I grabbed our trash and threw it away.

"Where to now?" asked Valerie.

"Back to the beach!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, leggo," said Valerie. The beach is still pretty quite. I grabbed a surfboard time to show of my skills.

"Valerie ready to be impressed."

"Sure show me what you can do." I ran in the water with the board on my hand. I waited there on the water for a couple minutes until a wave hit.

"Whoa Cody!" I heard Valerie yelling. She gave two thumbs up. I tried teaching Valerie how to surf but she keeps falling off the board. It was around seven so we decided to go home.

"You're really good at surfing," said Valerie.

"Thanks," I said. I held Valerie's hand I was surprised she let me. Our fingers fit perfectly, we walked like that holding hands all the way to her house/mansion.

"Thanks today was a lot of fun," said Valerie.

"My pleasure. Bye."

"Bye," said Valerie. She was about to walk inside when she turned around and hugged me. We stood there for a while until she let go. I kissed her on the check.

"Good night Cody." Valerie walked inside I couldn't stop smiling by the time I realised I was standing outside my house. That little girl is right I'm not letting Valerie go anytime soon.
