Chapter 20
Cody's P.O.V
Mum, Alli, and I are going to Valerie's house to see how Grace is doing. She fell and hit her head yesterday. Mum wouldn't let us go yesterday because by the time Grace got home it was too late. I'm really worried Grace being my best friend and all. We pulled up to their house there's a car I don't recognize parked upfront. Alli rang the doorbell.
"Hey, Simpson and Simpson's sister," said Lucas. I swear he like lives here or something.
"Is Grace in here room?" asked Alli.
"Yup, all the girls are up there doing whatever girls do when stuff happens," said Lucas. Vicky came to the door and invited mum for a cup of coffee. Alli and I walked upstairs in silence.
"No, if you take its head off its just a body not a zombie," said Jeremy. Alli awkwardly knocked on the door even though its open.
"Hey gurl how you feeling?" asked Alli.
"Fine, I don't really see why everybody is making a big deal," said Grace.
"So you're okay best friend?" I asked making Grace laugh and roll her eyes.
"Yes! I'm fine."
"Do you where Valerie is?" I asked.
"Her room getting something," answered Jeremy. I gave a him a thumbs up and walked to Valerie's room.
"I see someone is wearing their sexy pajamas again," I said.
"What do you have against Mickey Mouse and pink sweat pants?" asked Valerie while playfully pushing me.
"Nothing," I said raising my hands in defeat.
"Lets do something fun. I can't take all the people in my house right now," said Valerie while laying down on her bed.
"What do you want to do?" I asked sitting down next to her.
"Lets go walk around," said Valerie. I nodded my head in agreement, "Okay, let me change."
"Alright, go ahead," I said with a grin on my face.
"Out, Simpson boy," laughed Valerie while pushing me out and closing the door. I walked back to Grace's room but all the boys where gone so I had to sit through girl talk.
"Cody leggo," Valerie stuck her head through the door. I got up and walked downstairs with Valerie, "Mom we're going to go walk around for a bit."
"Be careful call me if you need anything," said Vicky not paying attention. We walked out to her garage which is the size of my room I swear one day I'm going to get lost in this house.
"Ok lover boy pick your ride," Valerie pointed to a sweet collection of longboards.
"Is there anything you don't own?" I asked in amusement. I heard Valerie laugh she grabbed a longboard with yellow wheels. I choose the one with light blue wheels. "So where are we going?"
"The beach, I heard its your favorite place beside Aus."
"Are you researching me?" I asked feeling amused.
"You wish, I'd like to remind you my best friend was obsessed with you."

Valerie and I managed to make it to the beach without dying except she did fall, and made me give her a piggy back ride and find her a Spongebob band-aid. Try carrying a girl on your back while holding two longboards. I hope the paparazzi don't find us because I'm running out of ways to dodge the Valerie questions.
Its not like I don't want to tell my fans; I just don't want her getting hate and break-up with me.
"Cody, look it's the ice cream man!" yelled Valerie jumping off my back. "Lets go come on I want ice cream!" Valerie pulled my arm dragging to get to the ice cream truck. I swear not even my brother freaks out this much about ice cream.
"You have chocolate on your face,"I said trying my best not to laugh at Valerie. She started blushing quickly wipping it away with the back of her arm.
"Did I get it?" I smiled at her being shy all of a sudden. She gave a questioning look.
"You missed a spot," I said before crashing my lips into her soft chocolate tasting lips. She wrapped her arms around my neck. I grabbed her waist pulling her closer we moved our lips in sync.
"Mommy, look it Codee Zimpson!" yelled a little girl making me pull away from Valerie. The little girl ran over to me with the biggest smile on her face.
"Sarah don't bother him," I heard the little girl's mom say.
"Its no bother at all," I said lowering myself to Sarah's height, "hi sweetie how are you?" She gave me the biggest smile a little kid can manage. I took a picture with her and signed her pony tee shirt. I turned back to a frowning Valerie. "What's wrong?"
"I dropped my ice cream" Valerie pointed to the ice cream on the floor melting away. I started laughing my butt off. "Hey don't laugh at me!"
"You're weird babe," I wrapped my arms around her while we moarne over her dead ice cream. "By the way you got all the chocolate off." We spent the rest of the day playing at the arcade. I of course winning Valerie a stuffed dolphin.
"Thanks for the miniture dolphin, I'll treasure it for life." We started walking to her house both of us obviously too tired for longboarding. I held her hand squeezing it once in while she rested her head on my shoulder.
