Chapter 7

Max's Point of View

Adam had just asked me to show Y/N how to edit videos after he gave her a job here. I knew she would get one. She is so amaz- NO STOP! This can't happen. Anyways, I agreed and faced towards her.

"Just know Y/N, there can only be one best editor in this town." I said, pulling off a cheesy southern/cowboy accent. She laughed at this, then we had a battle of who was Dirty Dan and who was Pinhead Larry. I finally had enough and started to reach forward to grab her, but she started sprinting away to escape me. So this is how you wanna play huh? I thought to myself. I sprinted after her, but I was slowly falling behind. She was really fast! When she was running past Ross however, he stopped her and hugged her to slow her down. Don't get me wrong I needed all the help I could get, but no one hugs Y/N! I kicked into another gear now, and I was the one hugging her, not Ross.

Wow I really do like her huh? She's just so perfect! Cute with all her little 'imperfections' which I found extremely adorable. Ugh, I have a huge crush on her don't I? She's just so cute! I was now blushing at her, and I was hoping she thought it was just from running! I looked down at my prisoner and started to trash talk her.

"I proved it! I'm Dirty Dan!" I said with my cheesy cowboy accent.

"No fair there were interferences!" She squeaked like a little kid. She's so adorable. I had to retort back though.

"What is that I hear? Excuses?" I asked, hoping to get a good reaction.

"All I hear is my captor saying 'I'm Pinhead Larry!'" She said to me. I was about to say 'Lies!' and spin her around when I hear someone behind us scream,

"You two need to get a room!" I was now very angry at this comment. I spun around still holding Y/N accidentally, to see Adam, holding a vlogging camera, and I could tell he got the whole thing on camera. She was blushing and awkwardly laughing to cover up the comment, but I however was still very pissed off. I started to sprint towards Adam to get the camera back to delete the footage. I started yelling at Adam that I would kill him, but all I got in response was a bunch of his 'NOO!'s and 'PLEASE NO MAX!'s.

When I finally caught up to him, I snatched up the camera and went to look at footage. Adam and I were now in a part of the offices where no one went. When I was looking for the video Adam tried to stop me.

"Max don't delete that! We could use that for a 'Welcome to the Offices Y/N' video. Plus that was really cute!" Adam commented, obviously not wanting the footage to be lost. I blushed at this, and closed the camera.

"Butt." I simply grunted at him, and set the camera down. Adam's face lit up slightly as if he just had a break through of an idea.

"You like her don't you?" Adam asked me. My face became a deep red shade and I panicked.

"N-no! I don't!" I stuttered, but it was obviously was a lie. A huge smile crept upon Adam's face and a sigh came out of my mouth. "You better not tell her, or ANYONE!" I specified at the same time confirming my feelings for her.

"Don't worry dude I'm not that much of a jerk!" Adam reassured me. Now a sigh of relief was let out of my mouth.

"Thanks." I simply replied, not wanting to go into the subject that much.

"Just so you know though you guys would be really cute together. I'd ship it!" Adam joked, trying to lighten the mood a little bit.

"Oh shut up!" I laughed. "Besides its not like she would like me back." I said, now with a frown forming upon my face.

"Dude she totally likes you! Well at least I think... But I felt the same way about Alesa when we first met. She actually rejected me, but by the way Y/N looks at you, I think she likes you." Adam assured me. "There's a little sparkle in the both of your eyes when you look at each other, and she's only been here for all of 30 minutes." Adam pointed out.

"Still, we have only known each other for a few days. I wouldn't want to rush anything." I stated. Adam nodded in reply, but he did change the subject.

"So should we give her a YouTube channel as well with her editing? She seems really fun! She'd defiantly be a pleasure to have in videos."

"Yeah! She'd be real nice on videos. Shy at first, which captures that adorable innocent type feel, but then she's yelling and bring all crazy. She'd defiantly fit in for you videos."

"Glad you agree!" Said Adam. "And I guess we should find her and help her out with that then." Adam said, but before he could move, I stopped him.

"Your sure you won't tell ANYONE right?" I asked in all seriousness.

"Yeah dude you can trust me!" Laughed Adam in reply.

"Good, thanks man." Said leaning forward a little bit. Just then I felt myself crashing into Adam. The worst part was I crashed into him and kissed him! It was disgusting, and we both pulled away immediately. We were both yelling and wiping our mouths furiously, when we heard something that sounded like someone laughing, but instead of an inhale it was choking. I looked over to Y/N who was on the floor making that noise. At first I was concerned for her, but then realized that was just the way she laughed. I'm going to be honest here and say that her laugh was by far the cutest one I have ever heard. It may have been unique, but that is what I loved about it. It wasn't fake, it was real, and it showed she did t care what others thought. It made me like her so much more after that.

Gosh I'm falling for this girl more and more every second, and I can't seem to stop.

I'm sorry if this chapter fell a little short of expectations, but oh well?
