Sofia's Point of ViewAs Max entered the room I saw a difference in the way the two of them looked before. I looked to Y/N to see if she showed the signs of recognising him, but for some reason I can't read this girl. She is the one person I am unable to read. She looked happy, with a twist of awe. I can not however decipher the look in her eyes. It looks like she might just be excited, yet she could remember him. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what she tells me or him. She's a special one though. She's probably the most cheerful and amazing person to ever deal with amnesia. All this when she's shy too. She really is something. I'll have to check in very often with her.
Getting back on subject though, they looked into each other's eyes and seemed somewhat speechless. Y/N is most likely too in shock and shy to speak first though, so it's up to Max to initiate the conversation. It was only a few seconds until Max spoke, which must have seemed like forever to them. He cleared his throat and shook his head a little with his eyes closed, then said...
Max's Point of View
I stared into her eyes for what seemed like an eternity. Although I didn't want that eternity to end, I figured that it was best to talk to her and not just stand here like a dork. I cleared my throat whilst shaking my head a little, getting rid of the reality where we looked at each other and creating the new one to see if she actually remembered me.
"Um, hi Y/N." S***! That was really stupid. I could've said a million other things that would have been better.
"Oh, umm, hello!" Y/N said with a shy little smile and cheery voice. She seemed happy, but something was still off. I can't tell what it is, but it's like she's hiding something.
"I'm Max and I'll be taking care of you!" I said, holding out my hand while walking over to her, still smiling. She looked at my hand confused as to what it meant. She didn't know what to do in return, so she just held out her hand how mine was.
"I'm Y/N, as you know, and I guess you'll be taking care of me?" She laughed angelically. I laughed a little at her statement and how our arms were. I guess she forgot how to shake hands! I'll have to teach her. I removed my hand from its position and thought again sorrowfully though. She doesn't even remember how to shake her hand, let alone remember me. She won't remember anything we did.
That's okay though. I mean, it's not like it was early enough to say I loved her right? I mean I know I did say I loved her more then anyone I had ever met before, and the words, "I love you." Came out of my mouth in that sentence, but with only three days knowing someone it's too soon to say you love them. I won't lie and say I didn't have strong feelings for her though. I'll have to postpone on those feelings for a long while. All that matters is she's happy.
"So! Are you ready to go? I mean, hooked up to all that stuff..." S***! Why can't I say something good at least once! She laughed at the comment and looked towards Sofia.
"Ummmm!" Y/N hummed waiting for a response. It was ador... STOP! No thinking like that. Sofia snapped out of a slight daze and smiles brightly at her.
"Oh! Here! Max why don't you step out of the room for a second and we'll get her ready. In the mean time you can go out and fill all of the paperwork!" She said to me as she called in a few nurses. Y/N and I looked at each other smiling dumbly at each other until the nurses came. A male nurse lead me to where the checkout was. A few nurses, including Sofia, were working on getting Y/N out of the needles. I couldn't stay in there anyways. I hate needles.
Y/N's Point of View
After Max left the room I was in a slight daze. He was so nice! I'm glad he's taking care of me. There's something different about him. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something special. Like it wasn't the first time I had met him or something. I'd remember if we'd met though. He's unforgettable and I just met the guy.
"Soooo!" Sofia hummed in my ear making it tickle, snapping me out of my trance. She laughed at me reaction and smiled even bigger. "What do you think about him?" She asked, obviously wanting to know everything. It was glowing in her eyes.
"Oh, well I think he's going to be a very nice caretaker. He's just so nice and friendly." I spoke, not really wanting to tell her a whole lot. She frowned at my simple answer, so I gave in. "I don't know! There's just something special about him. Something different! I just want to find out what it is! It's like I've met him before or something." I spilled. Sofia's look grew intrigued and curious. She looked at me with a galaxy in her eyes, filled with questions and curiosity. She then replaced her curious face with a smiling friendly one, but the galaxy remained in her beautiful telling eyes.
"Well I can't wait for you to find out! You'll have to keep me updated. I'm forcing you to!" She laughed, saying so as if we'd been friends for as long as we'd been alive. I like that about her. She's just so amazing. The kind of person to have by your side all of the time. Through thick and thin. Although I had just met her! But still. She gives off a wonderful aura. I laughed with her and smiled.
"I can't wait to!"
I also can't wait to see what the future holds with these two! As long as I don't get in my own way first.
