Layden woke to Carmen smiling widely. Carmen giggled kissing him
"Good morning." She smiled running her hand through his hair.
The door bell rang, she looked out the window Xavier stood outside the door with his tag along friends. Layden quickly pulled on his sweats and grabbed his stuff.
"Pretend you're coming from seeing the people upstairs they know to play along." Carmen said.
Carmen walked over to the door fixing her hair and wiping her mouth.

She pulled open the door.
"Hey Xavier." She smiled buttoning the shirt.
"you don't need to button that shirt sweetheart." one of Xavier's friends said.
Carmen rolled her eyes.
"What do you want?" She asked annoyed.
"Its a school day." Xavier said shrugging "I'm taking you to school."
Layden trudged down the stair shouting bye to the guys living on the top floor.
"Excuse me." Layden said politely to Carmen then shoving past Xavier.
"Who's that?" Xavier asked watching Layden hop in his car.
"School pretty boy, he's friends the the guys who own this place." Carmen said with a bored expression.
----------
Carmen sat I'm the back of her class scribbling down the gibberish of Algebra 2.
She sighed looking down at her Rolex watch. 3:30pm. She gathered her things, this tutoring session was useless. She slung her bag on her shoulder and left the classroom as she was about to exit the corridor she saw Xavier waiting. She sighed and turned around walking the opposite direction. She quickly ran across the courtyard to senior parking. She started to unlock her bike, she felt someone's hands on her hips.
"I've missed you."
She smiled when she heard Layden. She turned and looked at him.
"I missed you too but not now, Xavier's on campus."
Layden sighed quickly kissing her. "I'm tired of this shit." He cursed walking to his car.
