"I know, I wanted to walk you home. The buses don't run so late." He said taking her bag for her.
"What a gentlemen you are." She smiled pulling her skirt down a bit.
"You're a great singer." He smiled looking down at her as they walked.
"Thank you, i hoping to be the queen of rock n roll one day." She giggled.
Carmen wrapped her arms snugly around her body. She looked up at James through her lashes. James had his hands shoved in his pocked, his face to the sky. He quickly looked over at her. Carmen wrinkled her nose and bared her teeth at him.

Carmen sat on James bed she looked at herself in the mirror. She frowned at her reflection. She ran her finger along the scar on her cheek.
There was a knock on the door. "Are you dressed?" James asked.
"Yeah." She said still looking at herself in the mirror.
He popped his head in. "Its still pouring out there, and I don't have a car right now. If you want you can stay."
"Thank you, let me just call my mom." she turned and looked at him a small smile on his face.

Carmen sat on James's couch. She looked over at James as he sat at the kitchen bar eyes glued on his laptop, his glasses on the tip on his nose.
"staring is rude yah know." He laughed closing his laptop and placing his glasses on them.
She climbed over the couch. walked over to him, his shirt a dress on her petite frame.
"What are you doing over there?" she giggled standing front of him.
"re-certification." he replied pulling his shirt back onto her shoulder.
"In" she questioned.
"psychology" he sighed leaning back on the counter.
"Ohh! so you can like read people?" she asked excited.
"yeah kinda." he laughed at her excitement.
"read me."
He ran his tongue over his bottom lip and looked at her green, grey eyes, a giant smile planted on her face. her dyed blonde hair falling out of the braid. his eyes ran over the scar on her cheek about a million times, he wanted to ask where she got it from, He knew it was from the other guy but he knew it was a touchy topic.
"Please" she begged pouting.
"Okay, You're an eighteen year old girl who's been through a lot of things that a person as amazing as her shouldn't go through."
"Wrong." she laughed "I'm nineteen."
"Is that all?" He smiled at how cute she was.
"And everything that happened to me is my own fault, no one else's." She added turning away and walking back to the couch.
