Carmen fixed the black dress, and her hair quickly applying her ruby red lipstick.
"why are you getting ready for? a date with layden?" Garrett asked his dark hair falling into her face.
"don't you dear say his name in this apartment, or in my presence again." Carmen spat throwing her brush at him.
"why what happened?" Garrett asked becoming defensive.
"He screwed around." Carmen whispered applying Mascara.
"well, who are you going out with?" He questioned crossing his arms.
Carmen smiled pulling Garrett into a hug.
"Your aura emits Austin." she smiled kissing his forehead.
She grabbed her black pumps then slipping them on, grabbing her clutch then opening the door just as James was about to ring the bell. she smiled looking at the burgundy roses. She pulled him into a hug.
"I'm sorry I'm not done yet give me like five seconds." Carmen pouted walking down the stairs with James trailing behind her.
"good evening Mrs. Arialia, I'm James thank you for letting me take your daughter out for dinner." James smiled shaking Carmen's mother's hand.
Felicia stood there kind of shocked at who Carmen was going out with. A guy like him was the last person she expected.
"Please, call me Felicia." she said still stunned.

Carmen and James laughed softly at their small talk. Carmen let her short black hair fall into her face, as she laughed at James bad Adele joke.
"Why hide such beauty?" He asked tilting her head up.
"I don't know I never loved my smile." She sighed.
"Well I love it." He smiled pinning her hair behind her ear.
" so tell me about yourself Mr. Special forces." Carmen giggled scooting her chair closer to him.
"I already told you." He laughed.
"You told me almost everything but about you." She pouted "and you can find everything about me out with a click of a button."
"Okay, um I wasn't that much into sports. I only did them cause I wanted to make my dad proud." James sighed running a hand through his hair.
"Then what were you into? Wizarding 101?" She giggled.
"Ha, that'd be funny but no not that either. I don't know I was kinda of the cookie cutter kid that did nothing but what my parents wanted." He replied thinking of how to word it.
"What do you mean?" Carmen asked.
"I went to school did as expected kept good grades, studied, drove my siblings to school, played football, went to church every Sunday, never drank, never partied." He continued.
