A/N: Sorry this is so short. I'm starting to get writers block with this story.
        -----------------------------------

"Who are you?" I asked, struggling not to stutter.

"I'm something you shouldn't have messed with."

"I asked 'who', not 'what'."

Suddenly, I found myself lying on the floor on my back, struggling to breathe after getting the air knocked out of me. As I lay there, gasping for air, a dark figure droped down onto me, nearly straddling me, but hovered above me with both hands on either side of my head. "Don't interrupt me."

I was catching my breath. "I didn't-"

It cut me off by grabbing my wrists and digging sharp fingernails into my flesh, causing me to cry out in pain, sure that I was bleeding. "Your dad is gone...your friend is gone...your lover is gone...want to be next?" It said through audibly clenched teeth.

I didn't respond. Or rather, I couldn't.

Red eyes blazed back at me, and when I opened my mouth to speak, smoke and snakes came out, making me gag; it was preventing me from breathing, and I started suffocating. The harder I subconsciously tried to breathe, the worse it got.

"You won't survive." It said as I started to convulse.

The snakes that slithered out of my mouth striked my eyes, burrying themselves inside my eye sockets.

I screamed loudly, shooting up to a sitting position.

"Elijah!" A girl said.

I realized I was screaming myself awake again when I felt small arms take hold of me securely and reassuringly.

"Elijah, it's okay." The girl said.

I pressed myself into her arms, grabbing onto her tightly as I stopped screaming. It took me a few minutes to realize I was in my bedroom in bed with Rylie.
