Sure enough, I was in my own room when I woke up. The bright morning sun illuminated the white walls and provided a warm atmosphere to this place.
I almost didn't want to get out of bed, but I remembered I was going to get punished for murdering that doctor or nurse or whatever she was...and I had a brother to meet.
As if on cue, Dr. Saunders walked into the room with a clipboard in hand and a smile on his face.
"Good morning, Elijah." He said; he didn't wait for a response though. "How do you feel?"
"Good,"
"How did you sleep?"
"Decently,"
"Are you currently experiencing any pain or nausea?"
"No,"
He scribbled something down on the clipboard.
"Ready to get your day started?"
"I'm assuming that means you're asking if I'm ready to get my brains blown out of me?" I said jokingly.
He chuckled. "You never fail to amuse us, Elijah."
I made a face. "When have I ever made a joke in here, before now?"
"Several times, actually. But let's not worry about that; you have a brother to meet."
I sat up. "What's his name again?"
"His name is Ryan."
"Alright; could you give me a few minutes to change?"
"You don't need to."
"Why not?"
"This isn't school, Elijah; you may wear your pajamas around the facility if you wish to do so."
"Aright," I swung my legs over the side of the bed, and stood up. "Where am I meeting him?"
"Follow me,"

We walked down several staircases and down multiple hallways before we reached an isolated room- but it wasn't solitary confinement.
The door to the room was opened by a nearby doctor or nurse or something, and Dr. Saunders gestured for me to go inside.
I hesitated as I did so, and I was actually a little scared.
The room was fairly small and dark with a sheet covering the window, giving the room a dark, eerie glow.
I jumped when the door shut behind me.
"Well, well, well..." a maniacal but calm voice started.
I wheeled from the door to see a silhouette appear against the covered window; only messy hair and narrow shoulders were visible.
"If it isn't the notorious Elijah Winters." He finished.
"Ryan?" I forced out.
"I've heard about you and your little stunt the other night. Did you think I wouldn't find out? Or better yet...how did it feel?"
"W-what?"
He disappeared from the window, blending in with the rest of the dark room. "How did it feel to kill that woman?" His words snaked around me.
"Um..."
"Don't you remember?"
I thought for a second. "N-not really,"
"You're nervous,"
I didn't reply.
"Is it me that does this to you?"
