The Others

Prologue

In the year 2032 a war between Asia and America broke out, it was formally known as the "Chem War". Both countries wanted to advance strategically, so the infected their men with anything and everything. Asia's men grew faster; america's men grew stronger. As they continued to fight the "Chem War" it all came to a stand still.
Till Dr. Steph Welkins thought to create a compound of the blood from both America and Asia's men with various viruses, to create the T-virus. The government stole her compound and weaponized it; dropping bombs on both countries infecting everything in the process.
The world slowly changed,with the change came natural disasters as glaciers melted causing floods. Only later to dry up and morph into scorching deserts. Cities were engulfed by vines and trees and transformed to jungles after the earthquakes.
Even the animals changed; they grew bigger and stronger.
The human race was scarce. Some people,the uninfected that is, grouped together to better their chances at survival. The worlds leaders joined together to govern the leftover wasteland of earth or as we call it now the "Netherworld."

Years passed,before they appeared, till the "Others" appeared. The others were humans infected by the T-virus. The "Others" were classified by their eye; creating four categories. The first to arrive out the dark were the "Jaegers" with their red eyes. Jaegers had ungodly strength,wiping out settlements single-handedly.
Shortly after stories spread across the Netherworld of settlers going crazy causing settlements to turn into mad houses. They believed those peace loving "Readers" were to blame. They detested violence but they had ways of getting into your head.
With the others population increasing the humans fear grew. The fear only grew bigger as people went missing for days only come back miraculously unharmed. It wasn't until they realized the same missing people shifting into animals with electric emerald eyes. The natives later called them "Shifters". To make matters worse massacres began to occur all over, where others and humans lied in the center of the capital torn and bitten. This continued till local officials spotted black eyed others wearing clothes made from human skin, sharpened teeth,and unruly hair. We called them "feeders", like wolves they followed settlers in packs and....ate them.
The Netherlords or world leaders grew tired of the "Others" so they trained men to hunt. The "Prydwens" hunted and succeeded in every task. And this is how the world we lived in was like today. You can only be the hunter or the hunted.
