'Nathaniel could be a friend,' thought Emma, 'he behaves a bit strange... But he looks adventurous.'
She noticed Nathaniel on the second day of school itself.
Nate was praised by the science teacher for his acute knowledge of deriving formulas in physics class.
That day, during the boring maths lecture, Emma unknowingly dozed off.
During the short span of time that she was asleep, Emma had a dream. It was similar to a vision which she could not quite understand.
She saw herself walking in the dark. But before she had time to process anything further, someone from the class tapped her head and she woke up.
"Good morning, sleepy head!"
Giggles could be heard all around.
Emma decided to stay calm and swallow her anger by concentrating on the lecture.
