For some reason, Emma began to believe him.
"Yes I do know that theory."
Nate continued, "Well, I work with a scientific community whose job is to transfer energies from one form to another. The souls of the people who die in your world, come to this world through the tunnel. From here, we decide whether they should be sent back to the past in a new body to fulfill something, or if they are fit enough to stay here. Ever wondered what's heaven? Well, this is.
"But sometimes, nature likes to play with the balance, just like we played with nature. In a few hundred years our sun, which has already destroyed the atmosphere of Earth, is predicted to release a solar flare, destroying the first three planets closest to it. Therefore, the people of Earth are moving to a different planet located outside this system. We are ready with an Earth-like atmosphere there. The infrastructure is yet to be developed.
"Till the time it takes for us to make it exactly like our home planet, we want to try on our last hope of continuing the human race in this solar system, that is, introducing evolution on the red planet- Mars. We have managed to create a habitable atmosphere almost like early Earth on Mars. Life is yet to be introduced to the planet. We have been collecting the DNA samples of many living beings since ancient times. The last DNA we need is of yours, but not without your permission, of course."
