The next morning, before school, they met each other in the same park.
Nate looked at Emma with comforting eyes, as if he was convincing her to not worry about it through his eyes, in spite of being tensed himself.
"Well, let's go. Today will be amazing, as I'm going to spend it with lady Professor X." Saying this, Nate smiled.
Emma had a faint smile too, but she was more worried about how the day will turn out to be.
They both started their journey to the old building. Little did they know about what they were going to experience that cold morning.
The weather had started to grow eerie, and not a sound of an animal or a chirp from a bird could be heard.
The building was located about a mile and a half from the park.
None of them talked much during the journey.
On reaching the building, Emma smiled nervously at Nate. The place was dark and smelly. Nate stopped at the entrance to look at the shattered windows and spider webs built on them.
"Do we know where we're going?""There should be a sewage tunnel in the backyard," explained Emma.
On reaching the mucky backyard, Emma found the round metal plate from her dream.
"There! Told you I wasn't lying. This is exactly like I dreamt. I was standing right here on th..."
Just as Emma stood on the metal lid, it broke and she fell down in the tunnel.
Everything went dark.
