24 "calum!"

Lunch time has pulled around, Stevie say on her own in boredom. Calum walked up to her and grabbed her wrist.

"What you doing?" She asked.

"We're going out for lunch" Calum said whilst power walking outside.

"But I don't have money-"

"I'm paying." he said softly, that gave Stevie a warm smile to her inside.

"So, I'm not going to talk about it." Calum nodding his head. They're both at a ice cream shop and as Calum said he was paying he meant he would pay for ice cream, he's not rich according to him.

"About?..." Stevie was confused.

"You know.... The C word" he whispers loudly.

"Cun-"

"No!!" He laughed. "I meant Cassie" he calmed down.

"Oh, right" she looked at the table.

"It's your private business and I don't see why people need to keep going on about it."

"Why are you the only person that understands me?" Stevie stared into Calum's eyes.

"Because we've been buddy for years, I understand you more than the others. You were more of a dude." He put on a Californian accent for dude.

She laughed.

"But we do need to talk about the party." He nudged her.

"So you are going to talk about it then." Stevie rolled her eyes and he opened his mouth to say something.

"Well- you know- it was a really important part of the party."

"Not really" she mumbled.

"Um yes, you kissed Cassie."

"It was just the drugs."

"Liar, you would have been more angrier not lust" he folded his arms clicking his tongue.

"What's your point?" She sighed.

"You still love her, don't you?" He said with a stupid grin on his face.

"I never stopped."

"This is great! You can get back together-"

"Cal no, don't you realise how much she's hurt me?" She pointed to herself.

"Well yeah, but since you both adore each other and plus the fact that she's pregnant-" with that Calum stopped speaking completely but cover his hands over his mouth. Stevie eyes widen with anger as she just heard what came out of her best friends mouth.

"You fucking what?" She grabbed his hands to make him let go from his mouth.

"Calum!" She screams.

He sighs and guiltily looks down. "She's pregnant Steve."

"How the FUCK do you know this?" She asked in rage.

"Cassie blurted it out whilst I was with her and Florence in Maths. I'm so sorry."

"How many months?" She growled.

"About about four-"

"Four?? And you never had the courage to tell me?!"

"I only found out a couple of days ago."

"And you never told me when you first found out?" She kept asking a lot of questions and it made Calum nervous.

"I didn't want to upset you."

"I'm more upset that you didn't say anything."

"Well I'm telling you now! It's better I told you now then find her baby bump." He raised his voice.

"You're right, I'm sorry." She rubbed her temples.

"Don't need to apologise, I'm just trying to look out for you that's all."

You could hear Stevie's stomach rumble as she hasn't eat in hours. She didn't want to.

"Why are you eating?" Calum said stuffing his face.

"I'm not hungry..." She said.

"Oh, are you going to finish that?"

"No, if I'm not hungry" she slid her food to Calum as she ate it for her.
