He went to buy twenty pack of cigarettes likes his usual routine.
"£9.26." The cashier said clicking the till.
"Change the price have we, Tom?" Luke said cheekily handing the money to him.
"Grace has been doing my head in, she wants everything to be over priced- I swear if she keeps doing that no one will buy anything from here." He said frustratedly taking the money and giving Luke the change he needed.
"You know I'll always come back." Luke took his packet of cigarettes and waved goodbye to Tom.
He puts one in his mouth, already lighting it up. He leans at the back of the shop he was just in, putting the rest in his pocket.
He decided to phone Clio.
She answered by the third ring. "Hello?"
"Hi, babe. How's things?" He said blessing the smoke.
"It's fine, but I promise my dad and I will be out of the today by the end of the week." She said, Luke nodded his head. "No honestly it's fine, it's my flat and I don't mind you two being there. It's cute like we're licking with each other." He smiled through the phone.
"But with my dad there." She tuts.
"He's chill." Luke defended him.
"Yeah, yeah." She giggled.
"I like your giggle." He said before breathing in more smoke.
"I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet, so unaware of it." Clio said back.
"Woah." He coughed by the smoke that fought in his throat.
"Bye baby." She hung up the phone leaving the poor boy choking and speechless.

Luke walked into his house and out his keys down on the counter. He saw Clio sitting on the couch and her father was lying on a bed in the spare room Luke gave him, Clio sleeps with Luke.
"He's been like that for days." Clio knew he was looking.
"He'll be okay." Luke sat down next to her and he kissed her neck.
They stopped when they heard the cries of Clio's father. He saw Clio feeling heartbroken, Luke took her hand.
"I know what to do." He got up off the couch leaving Clio concerned.
He walked into the spare room, her father was curled up into a ball crying his eyes out. Luke knelt down to his height and waited for him to see him.
"Oh, I'm sorry Lucifer I didn't know you were home." He sniffed loudly.
"It's no problem, but I am going to help you bet a job." He smiled and he shook his head.
"No, it's my mess I'll deal with it." He didn't offer.
"But it's not your mess. I really care for your daughter and whoever she cares for, I will care for." He saw him having an appreciative expression.
"Thank you so much." He cried again, he started to hug Luke. Luke felt so bad, he gently patted his back telling him everything will be okay.
Clio stood by the door, touching her chest where her heart was, it was beating heavily. She felt a tear fall.

"Let's try in here." Luke pointed to a hotline for people who need to talk to someone.
"I'm not sure about this." George (Clio's father) felt nervous.
"You could help people out, I've been told you give advice to Clio about anything and it seems pretty good." He gently shoved him inside the building.
It was a small room, with multiple people talking on the phone all mumbling all at once.
"Hello, how can I help you?" A woman with purple hair stood in front both of them.
"Hi, we saw you had posters wanting new employees?" Luke asked and the woman nodded.
"Well, this gentleman would like to consider taking the opportunity." He put his arm around George, he just stayed silent nodding his head whenever the woman looked at him.
"Alrighty, lest see how good you are with advice. Sit there and wait for the phone to ring." She smiled walking away. George sighed of relief and sat down where the woman told him too, Luke just leaned over by his side.

Clio answered the door to her happy father walking inside kissing her on the cheek, she was scared on what Luke done to her dad.
"Guess who has a job?" George said to Clio, she jumped around feeling so excited for him.
"This is amazing." She cheers.
"It's all thanks to Luke. I like this boy." He smiled, going to the kitchen.
Luke came over to Clio showing his teeth.
"How?-"
"You love me?" He asked feeling cheery.
"More than that! You basically saved my dad." She admits.
"He's important to you, so he's important to me."
"So, what's his job?" She asked.
"Hotline centre." Clio covers her mouth with her hand.
"He's going to love that." She breathed. Luke agreed by nodding.
