She heard her mother walking up the stairs, she quickly whispers a goodbye to Luke over the phone picking up some random text book. Her parents don't know that she has a boyfriend especially someone like 'him.'

She heard a knock giving a soft 'come in'

"Your father and I would like to speak to you downstairs." She said with a blank expression. Clio gulped slowly getting off the bed.

As she was walking the stairs she saw her dad sitting by the table in the kitchen, he didn't look like his happy self which worried Clio.

"What's going on?" Clio sat down looking across at her parents.

"There's no easy way to say this Cleopatra, but your father and I are getting a divorce. Which means I'll be leaving this house and going to live with granny Lori." She explains, Clio felt her hear drop. She didn't understand her parents have always been the perfect couple. One big happy family?

"That's in Vegas..." She spoke up.

"Yes, you'll be coming with me." Clio stood up.

"No-wait a second here." She shakes her head numerously.

"It's for the best." Her father didn't look up from the table.

"I have school here!" She raised her voice.

"We can easily exchange." Her mother said tried to be calm.

"All my friends are here!"

"You can make new ones. Don't you always say they were little bullies? Especially one called Ashton?" Her mother asked.

"Things have changed, we all love each other- mother you can't let me leave!!" Clio felt the urge to breakdown.

"What you would rather stay here with your father?" Clio already screamed a yes before her mother could finish.

"What about me?" Her mother felt hurt.

"You're leaving us to go a thousands miles away, why are you even divorcing?" Clio places her hand on her forehead beginning to reveal a massive headache.

"It's complicated, you'll understand when you get a boyfriend or husband one day-"

"I already have a boyfriend don't you understand?! I can't leave him I love him!!" She screams which made her father look up at her leaving her mother speechless.

"You don't get it don't you? You both have fonts her your life, mine is getting started. I was going to go to university, go out with my friends and maybe just one day live with Luke. But you keep screwing it up!"

"Luke? Isn't he the boy who's always with Ashton? He's trouble." Clio's mother tutted.

"No, he's the sweetest bit I've ever known. You don't know any of my friends because I K ow you would judge, yes when I first met them I thought I don't know what I've got myself into but for the past year it's been the best year ever. I've came out of my shell, I'm still doing well in school and I'm learning how to have protected sex!!" And with that her father walked off not wanting to listen. Clio sat back down staring at her mother, grabbing her hands.

"Please mother, I have to stay. If you make me go I will never forgive you."

"You're what?" Luke's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"I don't know how I can change her mind. She doesn't care that my life is here." Clio said leaning against the wall outside of Luke's house.

"What about your qualifications, they're important to you." Luke explains.

"Yeah, but you're more important to me." She took Luke's hand. He leaned in giving her a hug.

"It's okay. Nothing is going to break us apart." He said.

"But what if it does?" Clio asked worriedly.

He separates and grabbed her arms. "Nothing." He repeated.

She gently pressed her lips onto his, she can already feel the tears fall.

He noticed and wiped them away, he outed his bottom lip and she smiled.

"I'll miss you."

"You won't need to miss me because you're not going anyway where." He protested.

"I'm not?"

"You just wait." He pulled her into a hug again.
