Dana's P.O.V

"Mom, I couldn't find Blanca anywhere!" I said running into the living room after coming back from our usual place and not finding her there. "She wasn't at our usual place and she told me that was where she would meet me after my classes." My mom knew about our place and it's not because one of us told her, but because she was a psychic. That's one of the reasons why Blanca and I couldn't get away with some stuff. "I know you can't find her." That was all she said even though she knows that I was freaking out. "Then can you tell me where I can find her?" She shook her head and all I did was groan in frustration. "At least tell me if she is okay and don't go lying that you don't know because I know you do." She nodded agree to my statement. "You're right, but you know how I feel about having you know what is going on." She was reminded me again. "Yes mom, I know you don't like telling because when someone knows then they will try to change it and everything will get messed up, but that's why I'm asking if she's okay." I said feeling frustrated. I love my mom and all, but times like these she just isn't my favorite person.

I saw her hesitate a little before answering my question. "All I can say is that she is okay, but can you get some of your supplies ready for later because she is going to need a little more blood than usual and the last thing I want is for her to go out again." I groaned in frustration, "So you mean to tell me my older sister is out there okay, but is suffering from lack of blood? How is that "Okay"?" I said putting air quotes on okay. My mom walked over to me, "Don't worry Dana. She is going to fine. I'll let you know when I would like you to find her." I nodded, but with an idea growing in my head. "And I put you practice cards away where you can't find them and use them to look for her. I groaned while walking to my room.

Once I was in my room all I could do was throw myself to my bed. I was freaking out about not knowing where Blanca was. I know she is older than me and also a vampire, so she is able to fend for herself, but she is also a little hard to work with. With that I mean that she suffered so much when she was younger so she keeps herself distant from everyone as well as give people the idea that she is some cruel person who doesn't care about what she does as long as she gets a reaction from the person. I have been on the end of that attitude when she first started living with us. It wasn't really her fault because she still wasn't sure if she was able to trust her new family, especially after the experience she went through. "Don't let what she say get to you okay Dana? She is really confused and scared right now and it might take some time, so please be patient." I remembered my mom telling one night after trying to see if Blanca wanted to do something together.

At that time she was living with us for at least four months and was starting to talk a little, at least to me. Usually when she said something to me it would be mean, but mom, dad, and I thought that it was improvement. I remember I was messing around with some stuff in her room to try to get her to do something with me and she was already showed signs that she wasn't going to be pleasant when she talk, but I didn't care at the moment. Before I knew it I had knocked down a lamp from her desk that was close to the bed. "You stupid kid! What kind of idiot are you?!" I remember her saying, but I also noticed that her eyes were turning into crystal, light purple eyes. That was what got me scared because before any of that she would only ignore me and give me the cold shoulder. So I did the only thing I could do and that was to run out of her room. That was when I learned not to push her kind limits and that's what I'm hoping whoever has her to learn quickly because if not he or she might be a dead man or woman.

I was in my room the whole day not really wanting to do anything until I found something about Blanca. That was when my mom came up to my room, "Hey Dana, do you know if Blanca still wears her glass moon necklace? (it's the cover page) I was kind of surprised with that question since Blanca never took it off. Apparently she has had it when she got to the orphanage, so to her it just reminds her why she is the way she is. She thinks her parents abandoned her and the necklace just show that she won't trust a lot of people anymore because they might leave. "You know she always has it on. The last thing she would want to think about is why she was put in an orphanage." My mom nodding. When Blanca told me her reasons on why she would never take the necklace off or lose it I told her that my mom would need to know. At first she was kind of hesitant, but after a long time of trying to convince her she agreed and it only made my mom want to care for her more. That is why I'm kind of in a bad mood because all this time caring for her and she doesn't even do a thing to find Blanca. "Good, so the plan I have will work." With that she walked out of my room.
