Chapter 10

Cole's P.O.V

After the lady left Gabe and I just stayed there not really sure what to say about what happened. "Are we still going to look for her?" I asked realizing it was already dark out. Gabe nodded his head, "Yeah I think we've been gone long enough." I nodded as we were turning back to go home.

Blanca's P.O.V

Dana and I have been practicing routines that we saw online for the past hour and a half and we were already tired, sweaty, and we were just sitting on the ground. We both decided to call it a night since we noticed it was already dark out. "Hey before we go you have to take some blood." Dana stopped me from getting up from the ground. "Dana I'm fine. I don't need anymore blood because the last thing I need is for you to go to the hospital for blood loss and the doctors questioning where all the blood is since there really isn't anything wrong with you." I said feeling bad over the fact that Dana has been feeding me more than usual. "Well too bad you have to take some because I don't want to go looking for you at another weird house again." He said sounding like he was only half joking.

At that moment I realized that we were having a stare down. We always have stare downs, especially when I don't want to drink blood and he is insisting. Usually he is the one to break first, but every once in a while I let him win just because he is my brother and I don't want to be too unfair with him, but sadly that wasn't the case at the moment. I held my gaze and before I knew it he let go with a loud sigh, "At least take a little bit. You know I worry about my big sister." He said with a small pout on his face and because Dana usually never shows me his pout unless he is really serious I had to take it. "Fine, but just a little bit." He nodded and gave me his arm.

It was only a moment later before I pulled my teeth from him and let him go. "There are you happy now?" I asked kind of annoyed. "Hey I'm helping you from almost dying again." He said not really happy about my attitude. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my stuff while Dana did the same thing. We started walking, but it was quiet which is what usually happens when Dana puts me in a mood.

The quiet lasted a while, but once we were outside I felt a sudden weight on my back. "Dana what are you doing?" I asked as he hung on my back. "Come on Blanca, carry me and we can be home in less than a minute. Unless you let me give you a ride and we can take a few minutes longer?" I said with a smile and I know we could have taken one of our cars, but since we only lived a few blocks away we decided to walk to the dance studio. "I wouldn't mind giving you a ride and we spend some more time together since we didn't have these last couple of days." He said when I didn't answer. I let myself agree with him because I know he was worried and after I came back we didn't really get to hang out like now, "Fine, just get off of me." He jumped off of me and signaled me to hop on his back.

Dana's P.O.V

Blanca never realized that when she got mad I always knew how to get her to feel a little bit better. I learned that no matter how much she tries to show us that she really only cares about herself she actually really cares about each one of us, so without her noticing I try to make her feel better by just spending time with each other. Right now  was one of those moments and I have to say that it could have been my fault a little since I forgot she didn't really like having to drink my blood. I decided to do a typical thing that she has always liked which was give her a piggyback ride.

I noticed that she felt kind of lighter than usual, but that would be weird considering the fact that she was only gone two days and those people should have given her food and blood even if it was animal blood. I decided not to mention it to her since I don't want her to get mad again, but I kept a mental note to talk to my mom about it. I decided to have some fun and start spinning a little mostly to try and make her laugh. "Dana, don't start." She whined at first, but then she started laughing. I started running a little and also jumping just to get her to laugh. We were doing this for a while before I felt this weird feeling that we were being watched. I'm no vampire, but since I am psychic like my mom I learned to be more aware of my surroundings. I knew Blanca felt the same because she had gotten quieter, "Dana do you feel that?" She asked and I nodded. "Her get on my back and we'll get home faster." I didn't really want to, but whoever was watching us ruined our fun time. "Fine." I said and got on her back.
