Gabe's P.O.V

I wasn't sure what to think about what was happening. Earlier today I was thinking about wanting to find her and see her, but now I don't know if I prefer just not knowing who she is. I don't know if we are going to be able to find her since it is starting to get dark out, but if she is anything like me then she would be out around this time in the dark. "Gabe, we've been looking around the same place for a long time now and to be honest I don't feel comfortable right now." I knew what he meant, but I my was like this because I knew I wasn't really welcomed here and the last thing I want is a run in with other vampires. Cole was probably like this because he could feel other vampires around and that instinct is starting to make looking for his mate a little hard. "I know you might not like this and neither do I, but if we really want to find her then we will just have to keep on looking. He nodded before he started talking again. "Can we at least get out of the woods and into some actual buildings because although she does look like a killer that doesn't mean she probably doesn't know what civilization is." I knew he was half joking about that, but I have a feeling he knew that I was trying to avoid not actually finding her.

After a long time trying to find our way out of the woods we found an "exit" and we were met by a small playground. "Well I didn't expect this." Cole said as he started walking towards the playground set. Something about this place felt familiar like I've been here before, but from what mom told me I couldn't have had time or the ability to actually hang around a small playground before I was given to them. "Cole, something about this place seems weird." I kept walking around and found a small swing set. "Well maybe you just haven't spent this much time in the vampire territory, so it's affecting you because I feel the same way." I nodded wanting to convince myself that was what was wrong, but I wasn't fully convinced.

We were about to walk away from the small playground when something caught my eyes. It was a small statue of what looked like recreation of a small town. "What do you think it is?" Cole asked, but before I could say anything else someone else decided to answer. "A vampire village." I turned to find a middle aged women standing behind us. "Um..What do you mean." I said not really sure if she was a vampire, but when I took a look at Cole he just looked as confused as I was so I knew then she was human. "This is a remembrance of a small vampire village that used to live in isolation from humans and in the woods, but as you can tell it is no longer her."

She was talking as if this was something so normal and if she were some sort of vampire or werewolf it might have been, but this lady is a human that shouldn't even consider something like vampires and werewolves to be real. "What happened to it?" Cole asked. "Us humans are what happened. No one understood that these creatures weren't a threat, but we never listen and decided to take matters into our own hands which caused the life of many vampire, especially families." I saw that with that last statement she was looking at me. "How do you know about us and more importantly what do you know about me?" She smiled and then a thought of her being more than just a human crossed my mind, "Who are you?" I asked and she started walking around the small statue, "You ask so many questions, but even if I did have all the answers there is very little I can tell." She said giving me a kind smile. "Let me answer the last one." She said and both Cole and I nodded our heads.

"I'm not like any human from what you can tell. I'm a psychic which means I can for see things as well as other practices like that." I didn't know if I should have believed her and I also didn't have an actual reaction so I just stayed quiet. "I know you don't believe me and I don't blame you, but let me prove myself for this." I looked at Cole to see what he thought. "I don't see the problem." He said with a small shrug. I nodded for her to continue, "what do you know?" She didn't say anything for a quick moment. "I know your name is Gabriel or Gabe like how everyone calls you. I also know that you are from here. You were born and left from your parents, but you still grew up a happy life." She paused to see if I was going to react and when I didn't she continued talking. "I also know that you were also taken away from your twin sister and that is why you are here, aren't you?" I nodded not really sure if I was able to talk anymore.

I turned to Cole to see that he had his mouth slightly opened. "I know this is weird for you and trust me that I am risking a lot of things by just telling you this." I took a moment to accept what was going on before I said anything. "If you know all this then that means you know who my sister is, right?" I didn't tell her I have already met her, but to be honest I was hoping I was just mistaking the girl for being someone she isn't. "If the cards are right then you should have met her already yesterday and she left earlier today." I nodded, but still not having my question answered. "You still haven't answered my question." I pointed out to her. "I know, but like I said earlier there is very little I can tell that won't ruin the course of action that fate has already set up for anyone of us."

I don't know much about psychics to know if it were true and if she were lying then I guess nothing would happen. "I have a question." Cole said finally recovering from what was happening. She nodded letting him know he can ask. "I know you said you can't really say anything, but do you know who she is and also at least tell us if she is okay." She gave Cole a warm smile. "I know you are worried for you mate, but don't worry she has been doing fine. Now I would like to get you guys to bringing everything in place, so I will be on my way." With that she turned and started walking away. Cole and I gave each other a look suggesting we should follow, "I wouldn't follow if I were you. You wouldn't want to change fate and have someone get hurt now would we?" She said without turning around and Cole and I didn't really have a choice then to stay where we were.

So I have updated 2 chapter and I'm really sorry for not updating. My mom about a month ago got surgery and since I'm the oldest I was in charge of taking care of my brothers and sisters. I ended up missing 3 days of school because my parents didn't find someone to take care of my baby brother while my mom was at the hospital and once I started going back I had missed a lot of homework and I could do anything else during study for a good week. So everything is now a little more normal and I can start updating now. I hope you like the story and I know it's kinda slow but I promise it will get better. Please vote and comment so far about the book thank you!!!
