Chapter 8

Blanca's P.O.V

I didn't think I was able to separate from Dana since we got home, but lucky I was able to use the bathroom without him following me or at least Czech trying not to make it so obvious that he is following me. That was when I actually had some time to think about what actually happened in that house. First was I got one of those feelings of actually fear because I was in the same house and same room with the son of the man who literally ruined my life more than it already was. I was even in his room, but the weird part was that he didn't do anything about it which kept me on edge the rest of the time.

Second was the way he treated me. At first I thought he was doing that because he was setting me up for something, but instead he was just being nice which usually doesn't happen considering with who and what I am. That was strange and the fact that he didn't look like he wanted to attack me like any other werewolf would do if he saw a vampire. His mom for sure wanted to rip my head off even though she didn't say anything, but something or someone was stopping her. Then there was the mutt lover, but I didn't really get his name. That is kind of the suckish part because he was the only one that wasn't as annoying or frustrating as the others. Something about him seemed familiar, but it could just be the fact that he was a vampire and I'm usually not around others like me.

"Blanca! Dinners ready!" I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard Joni calling me. I walked down the stairs to find that she had made my favorite dinner, pasta salad and ironically enough some garlic bread. "Here you go now eat up." She placed my food in front of me while we waited for Dana. "So how are you feeling?" Joni asked once she was done setting the table. "Um..I'm fine a little freaked, but I'll get over it." All she did was nod and I know that she was hoping for a more than just that, but I have never really felt comfortable with sharing how I was feeling no matter how long I've lived with them. "Okay, but just know that if you want to talk about it I'm here and so is Dana and also big Dana." I nodded and just then Dana came in following big Dana which surprised me a little since he is always traveling and he wasn't supposed to be home for another few days. "Hi Blanca." He said patting my back while going to sit at his spot that is across from me. "Hi big D." I giving him a small smile.

I have always had a better relationship with him, but that is because he didn't really push me to talking or doing anything when I first came to the house. Except for the times I needed to drink some blood. I'm not saying that I'm not like that with all of them because I still don't tell him everything, but I don't give him the complete cold shoulder sometimes and to Joni and Dana that is better than having me completely shut down. "So how have you been?" He asked me not really realizing that he brought me back to the real world. "Good, I guess." I said not really feeling the need to explain him everything since Joni and Dana already told him everything. He nodded his head knowing that I wasn't going to budge and that he wasn't going to push. I also noticed that he gave a small shrug to Joni's direction.

Dinner went by like usual with big Dana telling us how his trip was going and all of us just listening, but I could tell everyone was on edge about wanting to know what happened to me they just didn't want to ask. We were all getting settled in the living room to just watch TV when big Dana got up to go to his room , "I'll be right back." Was all he said. We all stayed quiet or at least I did while Dana and Joni were looking at their cards again. I just stayed sitting there thinking about everything going on again. For some reason I couldn't get Cole out of my head and that is kind of annoying because everytime I think of him I see Scott as well and he is the last person I want in my head right now. I also couldn't stop thinking about the vampire mutt lover. He was the most interesting one because of the fact that he was living with werewolves and because he stayed cool up until he found out what my name was then total shock was written on his face.
