[Alex's P.O.V]

I was running as fast as I could. This forest seemed so huge? I was trailing Rachel's sent. I heard little whimpers nearby and knew she was close. "Rachel, stand in the middle of the trees. I'm almost there." I said. I didn't actually say it. Just to her. In my head, and in her head.

"How can I hear you?" She asked. "How did you talk to me? Am I talking to you?" She asked. "Yes, all you have to do is think about that person really hard and your thoughts will travel to them." I explained.

{Rachel's P.O.V}

Crap. If he can hear my thoughts, and  if I think about him a lot, then he will be hearing my thoughts. What if he thinks about me? Awe that would be so cute. Like seriously. I've been his best friend forever what if he found out just how much I cared?

Awkward. That's a little creepy.

I saw a wolf running at me. He looked like he was running until he wouldn't any more. He was going so fast I didn't even know it was healthy. He was at my feet, well paws in what felt like seconds. All of a sudden a very little clothed Alex Mulling was hugging me. He barely had some ripped up jeans on.

"I'm so happy you're alright." He whispered into my ear. "Yeah me too, now how do I get out of this thing?" I quickly asked. "Just think about being your human self again. Just morph." He said. "Okay." I responded. The next thing I knew color was brought back into my eyes and I was wrapped up in Alex's arms.

"This is the weirdest dream I have ever had." I said. "But this isn't a dream." He said. "Haha, you're funny. I have a very creative imagination," I said. "No, love. Welcome to your new life." He said. Could this be happening? Like this is legit? "Yes." Alex said. Wait what? I didn't say that out loud. "If you think about me to much I can hear your thoughts." He said. Uh that's embarrassing.

"So what do we do now?" I asked. "You go home to Logan. He will give you advice because well, he is the alpha. I will stay here and try to deal with James." Alex explained. "No not by yourself. He obviously has problems and we don't know what he can do. All I remember about him was red eyes and this crazed look." I pleaded

"Wait he had red eyes?" He asked. "Yes. I just remember feeling all dizy and tired then I was out." I said. "He broke into your house didn't he?" Alex asked. "I think so. And that's another reason why I can't let you go. Now come on. We're going home." I said. I just had to think about wolves and Alex and all of a sudden everything was grey and white. I sniffed him and searched the ground for his sent. Bingo. I started running on the path he had taken me on and he rolled his eyes turning into a wolf.

"You know you have a beautiful color fur coat, right?" Alex asked me. "How would you know. All you can see if grey white and black." I said. "You grow out of that. I can see color." He said. "Oh. So what color is it?" I asked. Mostly a pure white, but with hints of grey on your head." He said as we ran through the forest. I swear we were out if there in minutes. It took me almost 2 hours to get to the tree I was at earlier.

"And what color is yours?" I asked. "It's a tan brown color. When we get home you can see it and everybody else's." he said.

The trees kept muffling near me and Alex and I kept seeing black flashes. I had to stop being so paranoid. I seriously couldn't handle it. Could he not be seeing this?

"I didn't invite you to leave." I heard a low voice say.
