Chapter 12: Saving Kasey [part 1]

Unknown P.O.V

They'll never see it coming. When I finally get her for what she did all those years ago; no one will want to be near her. She claims she has no idea how it happened, but I was there. I saw everything.

Maria P.O.V

Markie, Demetri, and Celeste were about to head out.

"Be careful you guys. Don't get caught." The only reason I couldn't go was because I was starting to show that I was pregnant; and Celeste is being super protective. So me and Michael get to stay home.

"We will." Celeste said while he kissed me quickly. Markie and Michael said their goodbye's and they were off.

They've been gone for two days.

"When will they be back?" I asked for probably the one hundredth time. Michael simply shrugged and went back to the book he was reading.

Someone was outside. I heard them talking. It's nighttime, I need to go get Michael. I tiptoed out into the hall, his room was at the other end of the hallway. Before I could start walking I heard a window being broken.

I ran down the hallway and opened his door. "Michael! Someone broke in the house!" I whisper yell at him while shaking him. Surprisingly he woke up quickly.

"Shit. Okay we'll just have to hide out until they leave or Markie and them come back." I nod.

"Where are we gonna hide? They're downstairs."

We ended up being under his room. I never knew that our house had hidden passages throughout the walls and underground. The downside was that now we won't know when anyone leaves or enters the house.

"Don't worry, Markie knows that this is where I would hide us if something happened."

I guess now we wait.

Celeste P.O.V

The security in this place was lacking. We were able to get in the estate fairly easily.

Once we were inside, the hard part was avoiding guards and finding Kasey. Every room and floor we checked were mostly filled with servants and prisoners. I really hope we find her soon. I want to get back to Maria as soon as possible.

Maria P.O.V

Michael managed to get a laptop working; so now we are able to see the whole house through all the hidden cameras throughout the house.

"They're in the library now." He said. Turns out, there were two men. One was about six foot tall, while the other was about five-two.

"Why are they here?" I ask.

He shrugged,"it looks like they're looking for someone or something."

I wonder who or what they were looking for.

Unknown P.O.V

We were able to get in the house, but we couldn't find anyone. I know they're here because I heard them. I'm willing to stay for as long as it takes to get her; but we don't know when her brothers will brown back. Then there's Celeste, he could be a problem, and then Michael. No one knows much about him, its almost like he doesn't exist.

"The library is empty." My friend told me. I was getting the strange feeling that we were being watched. I mean we probably were, she's a sneaky one.

Celeste P.O.V

Shit! We went to check on a room and about ten huge guards attacked us.

"Markie behind you!" I yell while snapping this guys neck. These guys were stronger than they look; I was getting tired after fighting one of them.

We were doing so well, Demetri was already against the wall covered in blood, and Markie had gotten pinned to the wall by another guy. I can't take on eight guys alone.

Without thinking my demon inside me took control. All I could think about was killing the bastards who were in the way of us leaving. When I snapped out of it, all eight of those guys were dead, burnt beyond recognition.

"Damn. New found respect for you." Markie said while getting Demetri up.

"Let's keep going. Others will probably be here soon."

Maria P.O.V

We couldn't find them in the house. They weren't outside either. We knew they were still here, so where were they?

"Maybe they are gone and we're just paranoid." Michael said.

"Well let's go check it out."

I really didn't wan't to do this.

So far all the rooms upstairs were clear, checking downstairs would be the hardest part. There were so many rooms.

Right before I hit the bottom step I saw them. The bad thing was they saw me too. I didn't even have time to react when they grabbed me.

"Michael!" I screamed. Only to have them cover my mouth. I wasn't aware of anything anymore, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Michael P.O.V

They have Maria. I have to get to Celeste. I've been running for at least three hours now. I was starting to get tired but I can rest after I get help. The guys didn't even notice me leave. Amateurs.

!! Okay so don't hate me. I had to cut the chapter short because I am clueless as to how I should continue the rescue mission. Also, I have started on my other book but it will be a while before its up. My other book Tell me I'm beautiful is being put on hold for the time being because school is starting soon and three stories would be almost impossible for me to keep up with. Anyway, feedback?? I would love to start talking to my readers. Let me know what I need to fix or change.
