Part Twenty Nine: Move on

Delilah's P.O.V.

And just in time, I thought, smiling.

"Hi, babe," Louis greeted.

"Did you just..." Calum asked curiously. 

I haven't told them just yet; since then, they always thought I like Luke.

Well, I do like him. But I don't think he'll ever notice me.

"Are you a thing?" Calum continued.

"That was what I was gonna tell you," Louis continued. "I asked Delilah out and she said yes."

"But I always thought you like Lu---" Michael started but was immediately cut off. Whoever or whatever made him stop, I'm thankful. "What?"

"Especially to you, Luke," Louis said. "You were the closest one to her."

This is it.

I wanna know what is Luke's reaction, too.

It's not like I'm using Louis.

Okay, fine, but I'm curious too, you know - because he was my first love - I've loved him and been loving him everyday secretly. It kept growing because of how close we are as friends.

But..

That's it. We're just friends, I think...

I don't know, but I've known One Direction since The X Factor. I was lucky that my friends know them and was doing the opening act for them. Since the boys' gig where I first met Louis, we've been talking. He would always ask how my day was; heck, he even knows I like Luke, that's how close we became over the passed few months. He's really nice and so sweet to me.

Until, the other day, he asked me out and I said yes. I knew Luke will never notice me so I decided to give Louis a chance.

"I," Luke started, there was a hint of disrupt in his voice. He paused for a couple of second before he said; "It's good."

My face dropped. I guess that's it. It's okay for him if I date someone else. That's the answer I was looking for from the very beginning. I really should move on.

"Great!" Louis said cheerfully. "Speaking of which. I hope you lads won't mind having two more companions on this tour. I'm bringing the girls in."

"Girls?" I can hear Calum asked. "Delilah? And.... Delilah and Michelle? You're bringing them? And Michelle?"

I smiled. I can imagine Calum's eyes widening at this news. Louis told me yesterday that he arranged our flight and had talked to the school. They would be emailing us our lessons and school work so we wouldn't miss out on anything. I refused at first but gave in eventually. I miss the boys so much, so, why not?

"Yes, with her," Louis answered, chucking. "They're coming three days from now."
