Dear Mrs. Kimmel,

I'm glad to hear that you loved my husband, but I'm so sorry to say that he passed away a few years ago. It was a terrible accident that took both him and our two sons with him. Please don't cry and please don't grieve him, he wouldn't want it to be that way, not for anyone who loved him. If it makes you feel any better, I'm going to read the letters, just so that I can feel a piece of him one more time. I respect your feelings and the amount of respect you have for my relationship with Sam. You really are a precious person, and I knew it when he told me about you in high school. I'm glad to hear that you and Ryan are happy. Sam used to wonder about him often. Again, I'm so sorry to have to tell you this, but I felt it was better than letting your letter go without respond. You seem like a sweet person. Thank you for the letters.
