Chapter Twelve // Urie Family and Apartment

I'm currently in California; Brendon is house hunting and his family is visiting, which he wants me to meet them. Which I'm terrified of.

I knocked on the hotel room door, and Brendon immediately opened it, pulling me into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry I could be there on the plane, how was your flight?" Brendon asked and I shrugged.

"Fine," I smiled, standing on my tippy toes to reach Brendon's lips.

"That's good, come on in."

I set my suitcase in the corner, and when I turned around Brendon was holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Oh my god," I covered my face and Brendon smiled. "Brendon!"

"I know," Brendon chuckled.

"I can't bring them on the plane though!" I stated and Brendon smiled nodding.

"They can stay here, then you can come back," Brendon replied and I raised an eyebrow, not understanding. "I mean do you want to move in together?"

We've been dating for five, almost six months, and I have never felt this way about another person, ever.

I looked up from the flowers at nervous Brendon, and he took a deep breath, not knowing what to expect.

"I'd love to," I replied.

Brendon pulled me into a tight hug, kissing my cheek multiple times. "I was about to scream my ass off if you said no."

"I was just thinking, don't freak out," I laughed and Brendon nodded.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

Brendon and I walked into the restaurant, and we saw his family outside sitting at a table, waiting for us.

We walked through the restaurant to the outside part, and once we stepped out the door all of Brendon's family squealed.

Brendon was hugged by everyone and I'm guessing Brendon's dad walked up to me.

"You must be Ellie," he smiled and I nodded. "I'm Boyd, Brendon's dad."

"Nice to meet you," I smiled.

"I'm Sean," a guy approached me. "I'm Brendon's brother."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ellie," I replied.

After saying hi to everyone Brendon and I sat down.

"What do you do, Ellie?" Grace smiled.

"I'm a blogger and I recently published a book," I answered and Grace smiled.

"A bestselling, book," Brendon corrected, and everyone almost fell out of their chairs.

"What's it called? Hold on!" Kara interrupted herself, making everyone laugh. "You're the Ellie Manchester?"

"I think so," I laughed.

"Oh my god I love Partner Problems!!" Kara clapped and everyone besides Brendon and I looked confused.

"I've seen that around town! That's by you?!" Dylan laughed and I nodded.
