I still have no bump and I'm twenty weeks pregnant. My OB-GYN says it's normal and okay, but I still stress about it.
I walked into the fertility doctor's office and walked to the secretary.
"Ellie Manchester," I told the lady, signing in.
"Dr Osborne will see you now, Ellie," she smiled. "Room three."
I walked into the room, knowing I'll exit and know the gender.
With Brendon gone I'm taking things a bit emotionless, feeling like he won't be in the child's life. Even if I know he will, my mind sends lies to me.
Then the door opened and closed quickly.
"We just landed, I'm here," Brendon kissed my lips.
"I didn't think- you said- Bren why are you here?" I laughed.
"I lied, well, Zack did. But it doesn't matter, I'm going to find out with you," Brendon smiled and I nodded, his intertwined with mine.
Dr Osborne walked in and her face lit up at Brendon.
"You must be Brendon!" She smiled.
"I am," Brendon chuckled, shaking her hand.
"Ellie talks very highly about you, and I'm glad you're here, your busy schedule lined up, eh?" She laughed and Brendon nodded.
"Still no bump, Ellie?" Dr Osborne asked and I shook my head.
"Is that alright?" Brendon asked.
"She's a first time mom, so yes, she's perfectly healthy and is doing great with her pregnancy," Dr Osborne answered. "Ellie is one of our healthiest moms currently."
Brendon squeezed my hand, nodding.
"I told you that," I laughed, lifting up my shirt for the goo stuff.
"This is going to be cold," Dr Osborne stated and I shrieked to the touch.
Dr Osborne moved the monitor around my belly, writing things down as she goes. "Everything looks great as usual for little Urie, would you guys like to know the gender?" Dr Osborne asked.
"Yes," Brendon answered. "Tell me it's a girl."
"It's a boy," I responded.
"Well let's see," Dr Osborne laughed. "I see a little boy, right there," Dr Osborne pointed at the screen.
"I told you!" I laughed at Brendon.
"Oh my god," Brendon covered his face.
"It's quite emotional, even for me," Dr Osborne laughed. "Congratulations, and your bump should arrive at anytime, be awaiting it."
After Brendon and I walked out of the room and into the waiting room I saw all of the guys.
"Tell us!" Kenny jumped up.
"It's a boy," I answered and everyone cheered.
Brendon and I got home to our new house, which is fully unpacked because I have too much time in my hands.
"Oh wow," Brendon looked around.
"It's really nice!" I smiled.
"Can you give me tour, Mrs Urie?" Brendon smiled, holding out his hand.
"Sure," I shrugged, grabbing his hand.
I lead Bren into the kitchen and he looked around with a smile. "Oh my god it's so pretty!" Brendon squealed, wrapping his arms around my neck.
"Your mom helped me decorate," I stated and Brendon's eyes widened.
"What? When?" Brendon smiled.
"I was talking to Kyla and Kara and they said that Grace could come down and help, so she drove up here and we basically decorated this whole place, and a bit of the nursery," I explained and Brendon was really happy that Grace and I get along so well.
"Nursery?" Brendon smiled.
"Yes, nursery, do you think our child is going to sleep on the couch, Brendon?" I smirked and brendon laughed, shaking his head.
"No, I just thought we'd do that together," Brendon sighed.
"Well I would've called you, but you had interviews all day," I replied and Brendon nodded understandably.
"Tons of fans are missing seeing you all the time, it reminds me of how I'm not with you," Brendon stated, kissing my cheek.
"Same thing is happening to me," I smiled, kissing Brendon's lips gently.
"Okay," Brendon smiled. "Let's continue the tour."
I showed Brendon all of the rooms, from the office to the guest rooms, our bedroom, the bathrooms, and the nursery.
"I'll be back in two months, Ellie, we can do this," Brendon smiled, kissing my lips.
Brendon's hands travelled to my waist, and he broke our kiss quickly. "Holy shit!" Brendon touched my stomach. "I think your belly has popped!"
I lifted my shirt and saw a bump that wasn't there earlier at the OB-GYN's.
"Oh my god," I smiled and Brendon pulled me into a tight hug. "Can you feel him move?" Brendon asked and I nodded into his shoulder.
"Just talk, when my phone's speaker is on he moves to your voice," I smiled.
"Um, hi Seth Everett," Brendon said hesitantly. "I'm your d- dad, and even-" Brendon froze at the movement in my belly. "You're right! You told me that when you first felt him kick but this seriously is amazing!"
I laughed, shaking my head at Brendon.
"This is all happening while I'm here, what's going to happen when I'm gone?" Brendon sighed and I shrugged.
"I'll get fatter," I laughed.
"You're not fat," Brendon smiled, kissing my cheek. "You're pregnant."
"I'm pretty sure I know that," I smirked and Brendon hugged me tightly.
"How has your morning sickness been?" Brendon asked, breaking away from our hug.
"Not too bad," I answered. "Seth has been pretty good."
"I'll never want to leave when he's here Ellie, I don't know if I should make Panic! take a break-" Brendon sighed.
"Us starting a family isn't a reason to quit your dream and what you love, sure you can lower how much you tour, but don't quit because we have a growing family," I replied and Brendon began smiling again.
"Can our kids tour with us?" Brendon asked and I shrugged.
"I don't know if you want a baby on tour with you," I laughed. "He'll be fine, Bren."
"Okay," Brendon smiled. "Are we going to have kids after Seth?"
"I don't know, pregnancy sucks ass," I laughed.
"Then you don't have to be pregnant, we can adopt," Brendon smiled and I felt a pull at the idea.
