We drove into my parents's neighborhood and I unbuckled ready to just jump out of the car.

"Ellie I swear if you hurt yourself," Brendon laughed.

"Shut up and drive slower and I won't," I replied, and Brendon did so.

I saw all my family waiting outside and I opened the car door, jumping out.

I ran into my brothers' arms, after almost slipping and face planting in the snow.

"Ellie!" Everyone surrounded me, hugging me tightly.

Brendon got out of the car and walked over awkwardly.

"For those who aren't aware, this is my boyfriend, Brendon," I introduced.

"Brendon!" Eddie high-fived Brendon, and they began talking as I went over to talk to my grandparents.

"Grandma! Grandpa!" I smiled at them in their wheelchairs covered in blankets.

"Ellie! It's so good to see you!" Grandma smiled and I bent over to hug her.

"Great to see you too, Grandma," I smiled and hugged my Grandpa.

"Hello dear," Grandpa hugged me. "How have you been?"

"Good," I smiled.

We all shuffled in with Henry, and Henry began playing with the family dogs, Joelle and Jimmy.

Brendon followed me up the stairs to put our suitcases in my room.

I opened the door and Brendon then realized that my room had more posters than his.

"You were right," Brendon laughed and I nodded.

We walked downstairs and I grabbed Brendon's hand to guide him and make sure he knows who everyone is.

"This is Uncle Logan and Aunt Larissa," I introduced my aunt and uncle. "These are their kids, Lyndsey and Lane, who are twins, then Lola and Lorelle, who aren't twins," I laughed with Brendon.

We moved to my grandparents.

"This is Marie, my grandmother, and Robert, my grandfather. They've been together for fifty-five years," I introduced my grandparents and they smiled at Brendon.

"I'm Brendon," Brendon shook both of their hands.

"Last but not least is the pets," I guided Brendon passed all my family to the sliding-glass door. "The brown lab is Joelle, and the golden-retriever is Jimmy."

"Don't forget about Peggy!" Mom said from the kitchen.

"Oh, of course!" I laughed.

I opened the office door and we walked in to see the parrot, Peggy. "This is Peggy," I laughed.

"Hi Peggy," Brendon waved.

"Shut your trap!" Peggy chirped.

"What?" Brendon turned to me, laughing his ass off.

"When we got her she already said these things like an old woman, therefore we named her Peggy," I explained. "Do you remember me, Peggy?"

"I sure do! And all of your stupid jam sessions where you'd listen to Bring Me The Horizon!!" Peggy whined grouchily.

"You'd like them if you listened to them," I glared at the parrot.

"Bull!" Peggy squealed.

"Stop pissing off the bird," Dad laughed.

"She pisses herself off," I corrected and Dad laughed with a shrug.
