I ask Mags if we can talk in her room, and she agrees.
We walk to her room, and I lock the door behind us.
"He seems to care most about Annie." I say.
"Why don't we call him here?" Mags asks.
"Fine."
Finnick starts banging on the door.
"Melissa! Let me in!" He calls.
I unlock the door and try to leave when Finnick grabs my arm.
"I do love you, Melissa. Why do you deny it?" He asks.
"Annie. You care so much about her. It seems like you don't know that I'm alive anymore."
"Melissa, I do care." A tear runs down his face."
"Then show me." I say starting to cry myself.
He walks me to the couch in the living room, and we cry. Finnick, because of what I said. Me, because I have mixed feelings about him and Annie.
I pull myself as close as I can to his chest, and I fall asleep in my tears.
