The sound of silence fills the hospital room as I wait to see her. My arms and legs strapped to the bed. Nothing but the ceiling to look at.
I hear the click of the door as she pushes it open. I turn my head to see her redheaded, blue eyed face.
Annie Cresta Odair. Or should I say future murderer.
"Hey." She says.
"Why do you want to kill me?" I ask.
"What? Why would I-?"
"I mean, what did I ever do to you?"
"I don't-."
"Don't say that you don't want to kill me. It's obvious that you do. You just married my brother. Why would you still want me in the picture?"
"You'd be a great aunt."
"Don't try to lure me in. You're going to kill me one way or another."
"I don't want to! I don't want to kill you!" She says with tears in her eyes.
"You mutt! That's what you want me to think! Well, that's not going to work. I'm going to make sure that you don't hurt me, or anyone else."
Then, she leaves. The mutt has left the hospital.
