Two strand twists are considered a based style because it can transition into other styles without affecting the intitional style. Its a protective style , which helps retain lenght, and being a base style it allows you to style it to your perfection.

How to:
Simply part your hair in four sections. This will allow you to finish your hair at a faster pace. From each section make a small part going horizontally at the bottom of the section. Secure the larger portion of hair and work with the smaller portion. Make vertical parts on this portion , the size varies to your preference as the size of the part will determine the size of the twist.
Grab the hair that has been parted and split it in two. Grap two strands and wrap them around each other in a downard motion to form the twist.

How to: MOISTURIZE:
If you the twist in for a long period of time then eventually you hair will start feeling dry. On the days that you normally moisturize your hair you can still do the same while the twist are in. This is where make use of the LCO method:

Get a spray bottle filled with water and sprits the hair. Do not allow to become soaking wet. Grab your cream moisturizer and glide the cream on each individual twist or you can gather a small section of twist and apply if to go by faster.
Lastly, seal it your oils. The oil can be anything of your preference .

Leave the hair out, do not style it. This will allow the hair to aor dry properly. If it isn't dried properly then it might start to smell and no one wants stinky hair. You can also use a diffuser to dry you hair or other drying methods of your choice.

Next chapter I will go in more details about the LCO method and give details on specific oils that I have been experimenting with. I have not given up on oils.
