In previous chapters, I raved about my dislike for conditioners. I was content with the level of moisture my hair was proved during my current regimen. However, while I was contented with the moisture level of my hair , I was not contented with the two textures. My hair was much more softer in the front than in the back.
I finally convince myself to try replacing my shampoo with conditioner . The result from the first use was expected , it left my hair dry.
I still didn't give up. The result from the second wash was more favorable and I started taking a liking to conditioners . After many more washes my hair has become more softer , has become one texture ,less prone to tangle whether wet or dry and much easier to wash.I never knew a item I hated could now become a staple for me. I was often confused when people was their hair because it felt dry because mine never felt more moisturize after but now I understand what they mean.
I still wash my hair two type a week and if a situation happens where I need to wash it before the two weeks , I simply use water on a heavy pressure.
HOW I WASH MY HAIR:
1. Thoroughly rinse hair with water. Try to remove as much product as possible.
2.Part the heart in very small sections.Work a section at a time.
3. Apply your preferred amount of conditioner to the section of hair that you are working with.
4. Massage the scalp, getting rid of build up on the scalp.
5. Take your entire length of hair and gently rub in with palms ,from root to tip, 2-3 times.
6. Continue the process until entire hair is finish and thoroughly coated in conditioner .
7. Rinse out conditioner thoroughly.I won't be blindsided any the advantages of using conditioner only and not think about the disadvantage. I do plan to use a shampoo every six months to wash my hair as to reprove build up. Conditioner was not created to clean the hair and it will cause build up over time. I have heard of replacing shampoo with apple cider vinegar but until I can find a place that sells it I will use a neutralizing shampoo every six months.
