Hair Update:
Two weeks ago I made a "hair nutrient" for my hair. While detangling i notice that my hair felt cakey and after detangling, the next morning when I woke up my hair was so DRY!....I did the LCO method on my hair and the problem was resolved. I thought the dryness was a result of the hair nutrient, however, yesterday I washed my hair and while detangling I notice that parts that where detangled felt cakey "hard". I only did the protein treatment so my shouldn't feel cakey still. After thinking about it, I came up with 3 conclusion.1.The Cantu deep treatment masque has become top heavy for my hair and I need a lighter product to moisturize my hair
2.my hair proposity has changed from normal to low and now the product has a harder time to penetrate my hair. Thus make the product stay and the surface of my hair and then staying there to dry causing my hair to feel cakey.
3. The hair nutrient is still affecting my hair.
I've also stopped taking hair vitamins. Ever since I started my natural hair journey I've been taking hair vitamins and I feel the I've becoming too dependent on it. I want to see how long my hair will grow naturally without vitamins .
