Chapter five

Chapter 5 Paige

Cody and Lucas walked into the kitchen as I was finishing my late breakfast (brunch).  Cody was really handsome and he looked strong and in really good shape too, I couldn't take my eyes of him, girls would fall all over just to get glimpse from him. No one should be this gorgeous.  He looked troubled and my heart broke for him but he broke my trust, how can I trust him again? I am taking huge risk by trusting Lucas but so far he hasn't done anything wrong.  Cody tried to talk to me but, I would never forget his betrayal neither forgive him.  I decided to consternate on Lucas, he looked lot better now, better than before, even Cody was glowing with strength, so I asked

"Lucas, how are you feeling now?"

"I am perfectly fine, thanks for not leaving me there" Lucas answered

After the pleasantry  Lucas asked if I wanted to go out with them, I didn't want to go out with them, I just wanted to go to my resort and find out what was happening.  I could say no and then ask Megan to take me to my resort,  some thing made me stopped from asking the boys and I went with my instinct.  Unfortunately Megan was just leaving and I didn't want to stay here alone with Anthony, so dis heartedly I agree to go with lads. Just as we were finishing up here Anthony walked in to the kitchen, my heart started beating faster and I slowly made my progress towards Lucas and stood next to him, ok behind him, I didn't want to deal with Anthony at all if I could help it. Anthony started telling everyone about some kind of celebration and making it official, I didn't pay much attention to it, since I was planning on ditching them at the first opportunity. 

We left just after Megan left, Megan told me that she will see me tonight and I couldn't say anything.  We got to the club and every one keep congratulating Cody, some people even kneel front of him (what a weirdos), some people even congratulated Lucas as well, women were all over them both, ok more on Cody than Lucas.  Cody kept looking at me as if to apologise for all the women's behaviour and kept telling them that he is taken.  Some one just walked in to the club and Cody excuse himself and went on to meet him, he asked Lucas to watch over me.  With Cody gone and Lucas busy with all the women, I found my chance to get away from them. I took some money from Lucas's jacket that he left it on chair when he wasn't looking and excuse my self to go to ladies.  I made my way to the bar and asked if anyone can call a cab for me. I also instructed that when cab comes just give me signal and not to come where I was sitting. I was just making my way to our place when, Lucas came and asked me what I was doing?

"Just wanted to get drink but realised that I haven't got any money" I lied

"What would you like to drink? This is Cody's club so you don't have to pay for anything here" Lucas explain.  So, the guy is handsome, and rich what more could girl ask for, wait, wait he is not trustworthy. Lucas got me drink and we sat down.  Cody still hasn't come back yet and I was praying that he doesn't. Fooling one guy would be easier but two guys will be harder. I was half way to my drink and bar tender signal me that my cab is here.  I gulped down all my drink and told Lucas I was going to get another drink. He offer to get it for me but I  said I can get it my self.  I can feel his eyes on me so, I went to the bar and start talking to bar tender and when he wasn't looking sneaked out of the club and got in the cab.

I told cab driver the name of the resort and off we went, I felt relaxed after so long. It felt like everyone else was running my life or kept telling me what to do and now I am free. We must have gone half way and cab driver stopped the car, I asked him and he just pointed the finger at the road, few cars were blocking the road off.  One of the guy came out and I recognised him from yesterday, he must have been waiting here for me.  My cab driver got his mobile out and rang someone but before he could say anything on the phone some one snatched his phone off and started hitting the cab driver.  I could hear faintly some one answering the phone but couldn't get to it. I started screaming for help but there was nobody there except for these people (What do they want form me?). Cab driver told me to run, and I wasn't  going to argue. I started running as fast as I can, because this time I had 4 people and 3 dogs were following me.  No matter how fast I was running the dogs were catching up with me, so I had to change my route to avoid them.  I felt like sheep because they were herding me towards somewhere and I had no choice but to go.  I tripped and fell down and dogs were on me, one of them bit me on my ankle and one of them scratched me, and their claw were razor sharp.  I felt burning pain on my stomach but I couldn't stop fighting, I was kicking them and punching them to get them off of me but I wasn't having any luck. I surprised my self by wishing Cody was here to save me and not Lucas. Dogs were still clawing at me and I was hurting all over.   And just like that they stopped.

A man walked in to my line of vision and he was huge, must be seven feet tall, he had scar on his face and he was wearing an evil grin on his face. My pain was unbearable, specially the stomach one, I tried to get up see it but my body wouldn't obey me.  The guy started saying something about mate, claiming and king but my whole concentration was on staying awake. I was feeling sick and dizzy with pain. The guy bent down and smelt me and said something in the line of Alpha king and started ripping my clothes off. I screamed for someone to help me but there was no body there, than suddenly he was pulled off of me and that was the last of I remember before I lost conscious.
