Hope's P.O.V
I can feel his eyes burning holes in the back of my head and its freaking annoying. I would turn around and be like 'bruh what da fuck are you doing?' But I felt like I've... Picked enough fights today... Am I right? I scribbled down some words in French before hearing Ashton clear his throat,now the notice suddenly closer. I looked up to see him now on the desk in front of me.
"How do you pronounce this word?" Ashton mumbled pointing to the word precious. I stifled a laugh as I laid eyes on the word. How can you not pronounce precious. I shook my head with a stray smile plastered across my face.
"Precious" I spoke as Ashton nodded,thanking me. I swear I saw a tear in his eye but I ignored it,not wanting to get involved with his business. I glanced up to see a young teacher looking intensely at me,as if he was checking me out. He finally looked at my face and I smiled,he returned it.
"Um Hope?" Ashton spoke again knocking me out the trance I was in with the boy who sat at the front of the classroom. I looked at him with pity as my eyes looked to his bruised eye and cut lip,guilt suddenly washing over me. I might hate Ashton. I might love Ashton. But sure he does get on my nerves.
"Yeah ash?" I asked the nickname slipping out. My eyes widened as he smiled gently at me before fiddling with his fingers,again. Something he does when he is nervous I guess but why would he be nervous around me? He is a fuckboy. He should be fine around girls like me since he seems to fuck 'em everyday.
"Do you wanna go out later? On a date?" He asked hope in his eyes but I only chuckled evilly.
"Ashton your still a fuckboy"
"I've changed my ways"
"I will believe that when Jesus comes back from the dead again"
So yeah why do you think ash couldn't read/pronounce the word precious. I know why,well duh I am the author.
