Hope's P.O.V

We [meaning Ashton and I] left his apartment with our hands intertwined. I felt like a bad person because I promised myself I wouldn't get locked into his trap well guess what. I did. Ashton Irwin is nothing but a fuckboy and I've fallen into his trap.

We left through the front exit,the wind blowing my hair back and sending shivers down my spine. I silently prayed that Ashton didn't notice but he did. Great. He placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his chest. I sighed deeply as we walked along the path which led towards the hospital,a close walk it was only 10 minutes.

"Ashton" I mumbled still looking at the path ahead of me. Nothing but old people and really young people. Like baby young. Ashton stroked my arm gently before answering me.

"Yeah Hope?" Ashton asked turning I tot he hospital, I must've zoned out. I shut my eyes and let out a deep breath.

"Why? Why me? I'm only me,the person who used to have friends." I mumbled under my own breath. Ashton stopped walking and turned towards me,his finger heading beneath my chin and lifting it so I was looking into his hazel eyes.

"Hope I chose you because your you. I love everything you do from moving your hair nervously to sticking up for yourself on buses. I love everything you do. I might not completely love you yet but hell its close. You're the most beautiful,trustworthy person I've ever met and I wouldn't have it any other way. I like you for you" Ashton said in one breath looking at me seriously. My heart fluttered and butterflies blew up in my stomach.

"Ash...I..." His eyes flickered between my eyes and my lips which just took us took my breath away. I only looked into his eyes,they're intoxicating. A drug you could say. In a heartbeat his soft lips connected to mine and I was shocked but kissed back slowly. My arms trailed behind his neck and his hands to my waist,pulling me closer. I went on my tip toes and soon after we broke apart,out foreheads resting on one another's.

"Be my girlfriend?" Ashton asked panting slightly still gripping my waist protectively. I smiled at him and connected my lips onto his this time. He kissed back instantly and we both smiled,it was a short kiss. A very short kiss but it meant a lot.

"Yes Ash,I'll be your girlfriend" I smiled at him burying my head into the crook of his neck.

I opened the door to Luke's room and he sat there awake just staring at the door. His eyes lit up when he saw me shot me a small smile. Ashton insisted that I come in alone for a little while,he said he had to take an important phone call.

"Hiya Luke,Michael" I smiled at Luke then glanced to the corner where I saw Michael with tears in his eyes. I held my hand up to Luke and quickly rushed over to Michael. His head in his hands and small sobs escaped his lips.

"Mikey." I tapped him gently has he head came up,his green eyes meeting my eyes. He had tear stained checks,even though he was still crying,and puffy eyes. I hugged him as he cried into my shoulder letting it all out. I couldn't see Luke's facial expression but hell I wish I could. "What's wrong Mikey?"

Michael sucked in a deep breath before tears filled his eyes again. I 'shhed' him soothingly do he could tell me what's up.

"3 things." He said barely above a whisper "L-Luke doesn't remember me. I-I'm moving away and...Luke...wants us to stop talking. He wants to break up with me because he doesn't remember" I hugged Michael even tighter before telling him I would talk to Luke. I slowly turned away from Mikey and now faced the happy-go-lucky Luke who sat on the hospital bed.

"Hopey I was wondering when you would show up!" Luke smiled as I wandered towards him. I broke out a smile before letting reality wash over me. Luke is ill. He doesn't remember a thing from God knows how long ago.

"What was the last thing you done Lukey?"

"Just started school. We've started our senior year"
