Spencer decided on getting ready for the upcoming night even if she couldn't gather her thoughts properly. The petite girl was half way through straightening her hair when she was interrupted by a knocking on the door. Toby.

"Oh it's you." The girl said and carried on attending to her hair, making it obvious to the man that she didn't care about him being here.
"Well it's nice to see you too Spence."

An awkward atmosphere filled the air and Toby had no idea why. A few hours ago the pair were fine but for him now it was just like ice between them.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Spencer finally asked, she looked in to the mirror but just to look at Toby's face. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't get her mind around this at all. Why was he leaving her like this without any warning at all? Was he even going to tell her at all the truth?
"Tell you what Spencer?"
"That you're going off to war. Does it ring a bell? Obviously it must not be a massive deal to you, it's only your life you're putting on the line." Spencer's voice broke half way because even though she wanted to be angry she couldn't. The only thing she felt was hurt. What Toby and Spencer had was so real so why would he lie to her and keep this a secret for such a long time?
"Jenna told you..." Toby said as he finally realised what had been happening.

And even though she was hurting so much and had no explanation for what had happened, she still ran into the mans arms, scared that this was going to be one of the last times he would hold her.
"Please don't leave me."

There seemed to be no conversation at all, that was until a loud bang was heard.
"What was that?" Aria asked anxiously looking quickly over to the man.
Ezra stood up not moving anywhere fast, "Elevators broke."
Aria wasn't claustrophobic but this situation was just ridiculous. She quickly rushed to find the button to call somebody but nothing happened.
"It's not working."
"Hasn't for years. Looks like we're stuck."

"You know you can speak to me Ezra." Aria had not took off her jacket and was sitting against the opposite side of the wall to the one Ezra was leaning against.
"I'm surprised you know that, you're one for cutting people off and never speaking to them again."
Aria just shook her head trying to hide her angered smile. "You're kidding me right?"
Ezra turned on the spot to look at the girl he had missed so much after all this time and he wanted to hate her but just seeing her made him feel so complete once again. "Why didn't you even say goodbye?"

Aria stood up and walked over to the man trying to understand why he wasn't able to move on. What she had done had hurt Ezra but she didn't think it would hurt him this much.

"I left because I wanted to make you proud. I wanted to be able to come back here and show you I could really make it in this world. I wanted to repay you for everything you did for me. I wanted to do that but I couldn't say goodbye, I couldn't say goodbye to the person I love."
