"Why are you looking at me like that?" Caleb couldn't help but grin when he asked the question, the smile was infectious and soon enough Hanna was wearing it on her lips.
"I'm just so grateful for you."
"What are you talking about?"
"You've just shown me who I truly am, you've gotten me out of the mess that I used to call my life. I can't thank you enough if I ever tried." Hanna confessed and Caleb felt humbled at the least.
"You don't need to thank me."
Soon enough the countdown had begun and Caleb's hand had never left Hanna's since they intertwined earlier on.
"I do."
As soon as it reached midnight Hanna reached up and kissed Caleb, when he actually realised what was going on he returned the kiss and held onto the girl he had dreamed of for years.

"We don't have to come here if you don't want to Alison." Emily said as they both walked into Spencer's party, the crowd was so lively that it was hard for the other to hear what they were saying.
"No, I want to." Alison nodded pulling Emily into the crowd. "And now I've done my resolution. It may have taken me a whole year but I've finally done it." The blonde girl couldn't help but smile as the words came out of her mouth.
"And what was that then?"
"To make it up to you. To tell you how I actually feel about you and to kiss you when the clock strikes midnight."
"You haven't finished the whole of the list.
10,9...
Alison blushed slightly at Emily's words and immediately pulled her in close.
"Well I'll finish it now."
Alison had been waiting for this moment for so long and finally she kissed the girl who had always been more than just a friend. Finally she realised that Emily was everything she had always wanted.
"Happy New Year Em."

The clock was quickly ticking down and Spencer was so caught up in catering for everyone that she didn't notice how close it was getting to midnight.
"Mom, I have to go." Spencer quickly said as she headed into the crowd of people.
55,54...
Spencer couldn't find Toby anywhere and was quickly thrown into a sea of panic and desperation. Every second was one closer to the New Year and the whole part of any of this was so she could spend hers and Toby's last few minutes together. She was moving people away as quickly as she could until she saw the man standing opposite her with a smile on his face.
8,7....
"I thought I'd lost you."
"You never will Spencer."Toby said quickly sealing his words with a kiss.

Aria stood alone looking around at all of the couples wondering where she was going to go from here. She'd lost her book deal and maybe more important than that she had lost Ezra again. She couldn't even find any of her friends here so starting the New Year by herself wasn't really the most beautiful thing she had imagined.
It was all too much for the girl and placing her coat back on she headed out the doors of the party she heard the groups of people beginning to count down.
28,27...
Aria couldn't get rid of the thoughts going around her mind - if the thought of the next year was so bad what would happen when that clock reached 12? Aria turned her back on the party when she saw a familiar face in front of her.
"Ezra? What are you doing here?"
She quickly headed down the steps and he immediately pulled her in, holding her like he had done merely minutes before.
"I'm finishing what we started."
And as the clock struck midnight Ezra kissed the girl like he had always dreamed of doing.
