"NO! Stop don't do it!" I begged as I walked up to him slowly.

It was pitch black, the only light being emitted was from one lamppost. Dominique calls me that night at two in the morning telling me that he was planning on doing it tonight, I wouldn't let him. I was going to use everything in my power to stop him. His head whips around when he hears my voice and he looks at me with pained eyes. He didn't want me here. He didn't want me to see it happen.

"Please, just stop! You don't have to do this. I love you I always have just stay with me! Please!" I fell to my knees begging him to just slow down and step away.

"Mindy." He says my name like a whisper his voice dipped with so much emotion. "I have to love, I know you don't understand but I have to do this. I know you love me, I just wished I loved you enough."

His words ripped holes in my heart. He loved me, in our 4 years together he never said those words. But now he was saying them, he was saying them as a goodbye and that made me cry even harder. I could barely see through the barrier that my tears created but I got up and walked over to him until I was just as close to the edge.

"No, if you love me then stop! I only want you please don't leave me, please." I was barley whispering now, I didn't want to scare him.

"Mindy," he grabs my face with his big, soft, gentle hands. "You helped me, but I just don't belong here, I wasn't made for this world like you were. You can go on and live you life, don't miss me, I will always watch over you."

"Bu-but, why? I can't take it, I won't go on if you leave me!" I challenged weakly. I couldn't think of what to tell him to stay, I just knew that I needed him to stay.

"NO MINDY!" He screams, surprising me but not scaring me. "I won't let you! If you love me, even a little, then you will make sure to live your life happily. Promise me that Mindy!" He says this urgently making sure I don't turn my face away from him.

"I pr-promise." The tears had no way of stopping now. I couldn't do anything, I gave up. I just closed my eyes and burned the feel of his hands on my face into my memory.

"I love you Miranda Ryker. Be happy." He whispered softly into my ear his breath covering my neck. Then I felt his lips brush on mine, a feather light touch, and then I felt his presence disappear. I only fell to the ground with my eyes still closed when I heard the sound of a body smacking onto the ground.

"Hey Mindy baby, you okay?" Ciara breaks through my thoughts, looking at me with a worried expression.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine just something weird happened yesterday...and I was just thinking about it." I didn't want to tell her so I hoped she would drop it at that.

She looks at me and lifts an eyebrow but decides to leave me alone and it makes me leave a sigh of relief as I go back to staring at my books blankly.

"Excuse me, but I'm new here so I got lost sorry for being late." A girl announces as she steps through the doors that slam behind her.

The sound of the doors makes me jump from my lost state and I look up and my mouth drops. I don't know why I was surprised, having seen Liam and the boys, but seeing a girl like that was still new to me.
