Coming Out and Getting High
Mindy's P.O.V
"I thought you were going to come with us to the midnight premiere?" Ciara whines at my doorstep coming to pick me up when I informed her I would be staying home.
"Drop it Ciara. I don't want to go! It's not even that good of a movie, I have to catch up on school anyway." I give her a feeble excuse, looking everywhere but at her eyes.
"Oh my God Miranda! Liam isn't even going to be there, so its not like you are avoiding him by staying here. And honestly when are you going to stop moping around and move on? You guys weren't even together, it has been a month!"
There was one thing that pissed me off about Ciara, and that was she didn't know how to shut her goddamn mouth when needed to.
"Ciara, just leave! This has nothing to do with Liam! I just don't want to go, so just leave and tell the others sorry." I said through clenched teeth inching the door closer and closer to the frame wanting her to leave already.
"Fine!" She turns on her heels and stomps to the idle car at the curb. I see Harry look at me apologetically and then he drove off leaving me alone at my flat.
I slammed the door shut and groaned loudly. She was right, I needed to get over the dumb fight that I had with Liam, I needed to move on from that pain in my chest that clenched every time something reminded me of him. I don't know why I was even affected that much. It was just one kiss that we shared. We never said we were together, we never even discussed what that kiss meant. It was just a kiss, yeah, that's what it was. Just a kiss shared with someone that held no meaning to me.
"You're lying to yourself Mindy." I said out loud as I trudged to the kitchen and opened up the door to the refrigerator.
I was in sweats mode. I had on my purple sweats along with a white tank-top. I didn't even bother putting my glasses on. It was Saturday, it was my bum day, and it was the day that I was going to sit around and do nothing. I grabbed a can of coke and shut the door moving to the cabinet. I stood in front of the cabinet a few seconds longer before deciding on some barbecue chips and grabbing the bag I headed to the couch in my living room. Who needed to pay $7.50 for a movie when you can just sit around and watch your own movie at home?
"Ugh! You have got to be kidding me right now!" I groaned loudly hoping the person at my front door would just go away.
I had just popped in the DVD and settled into the couch when someone knocked on my door.
"Ciara, I'm still not going to the movie, so just st- Oh, hi Louis." I was cut off mid-sentence when I noticed who was on the other side of the door.
"Hey Mindy." He mumbles stuffing his hands into the front pockets of his always tight and always crisp black jeans.
I stepped to the side letting him in before closing the door. This was a surprise, I didn't expect that he was going to come here, especially when I thought they were all out having dinner and watching a movie.
"Aren't you going to the movie with the rest?"
"I figured you would bail and I thought it would be better to keep you company then to be around a lovesick couple and two food freaks and a very, very moody weirdo." He chuckles.
"Oh gosh Lou, lovesick? They can't be that bad?" I make small talk as I offer him a coke and motion for him to sit wherever he wants.
"Oh they're bad Mindy, and it's a movie that I don't think they will be watching." His voice hardens and the happy look in his eyes looks forced.
"Wait, I thought, Ciara said that Liam wasn't going to be there." I remembered the mention of a moody weirdo during our greeting.
He looks at me and lifts an eyebrow looking at me like I had almost fallen for an obvious trap and I shake my head with pursed lips. Thank goodness I hadn't listened to Ciara and gone, that would have been a meeting with Liam that I have been avoiding to do for a month.
"Well then Louis let's have our own fun, shall we?" I smiled brightly trying to cheer him up, and trying not to mention Liam anymore even if it was indirectly. Seriously I needed to forget about whatever relationship we had, some people just weren't meant to be friends.
I snuggled into Louis as the beginning of the movie appeared onto the screen. Ever since that one day last month Louis was my rock. We always hung out since I did everything in my power to avoid that specific group of friends. Ciara wasn't around often since she and Harry had become inseprable. But Louis, he was always there. Smiling and cracking jokes and making sureI was in a fit of giggles if I let slip that I was sad and hurting. I found out that he knows how to play piano, and his voice isnt half bad either. It was higher then I would have guessed, and it was so beautiful to listen to. Sometimes I wondered what I would have done if Louis Tomlinson wasn't there to help me out.

Tuesday was almost over and I was a tired mess. My nightmares were back, so now I was barely getting a wink of sleep. I lay down against the grass, closing my eyes, and taking in a deep breath. I smiled slightly as I felt the blades of grass brush against my waist where shirt rode up. I wasn't relaxing long before I felt a jab on my side which made me jerk up glaring at my attacker. His bright blue eyes looked down on me innocently as he stretched out next to me and groan of relief.
"I was waiting for Ciara but it looks like you will do." I smirk looking at him, fighting a smile from taking over my features.
"Yeah, you probably be waiting all day then." Louis grumbles turning his back towards me so I couldn't see his face.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I'm just saying, she is always so busy with Harry that she forgets about everything else."
He was being abnormally harsh, I didn't understand. Louis was always happy, always smiling, always making me laugh. Why was he being so venomous?
"What happened Lou? When did you and Ciara even fall-out?"
"You can't have a fall-out with someone that you weren't really friends with in the first place." He mumbles, pulling at the blades of grass absentmindedly.
I stared at him for a while and things started slowly clicking into my mind. Wait...he couldn't be? Nothing hinted at it other then his reaction to Ciara. My mind kept whirling and I was completely distracted.
"Hey daydreamer!" Louis screamed in my ear annoyingly.
I batted him away and breathed in deeply and looked at him. How was I supposed to ask him this? You can't just...ugh! It didn't matter I wanted to know, I needed to know.
"Louis are you crushing on Harry?" I said as quickly as possible looking everywhere but his eyes.
The way he tensed up and froze, gave me the confirmation I needed.
"Fuck." He mumbled under his breath as he plays with the hair that peaked out of his beanie on the back of his neck.
"Damn. Was I seriously that obvious?"
"Lou it's fine honestly, don't worry no one knows. I just think too much about things." I tried to assure him looking at him softly.
I smiled to myself as I sat back and watch a smile creep on his face. He looked relieved that I found out, it looked like that was a weight lifted off his shoulder. Looking at Louis with that smile on his face made me feel bittersweet. I just wish I could have this weight lifted off my shoulder, but I was alone, I was always alone.
Liam's P.O.V
Music class was history. I no longer went. I ignored the calls that blew phone. I didn't give a flying fuck about anything anymore. Therapy was useless and the dreams came in full force. I just wanted them to stop so I stopped sleeping at night. I was tired, I fell asleep everywhere. But at night I was wide awake, nothing made m fall asleep.
I couldn't bare seeing her. She would never love me. Not that it mattered to me. But seeing her was inevitable, she was everywhere. Even if she wasn't physically there, I could see her, I could feel her, my mind was just flooding with her. I gripped the hair on top o my head and pulled angrily groaning, slamming myself onto the couch, staring at the muted telly. Nothing I did made her get out of my mind. Seeing her at school going about her everyday life confirms to me that I meant nothing. I was happy I ended things before anything really started. This was a good thing, right?
Louis was always around her. Whenever she saw him in the courtyard she would let this big smile spread on her perfect face. My fingers tingle under the memory of having her face in my hands, she felt like she was meant to be in my big hands, her small features felt like they were supposed to be in my big hands so I can protect her. But that feeling was false. She wasn't supposed to be anywhere near me. She was poison just like Danielle and I needed to get her out of my mind.

"Join us for a hit, we haven't done one in a while." Zayn mumbled under his breath so that no one could hear.
I didn't do drugs. Well, I've done them before but I didn't like doing them. I was about to reject the offer and walk home, skipping my last class when I saw her. She was laying under the tree in the courtyard. Her eyes were closed, and I couldn't resist letting my eyes rake down her body. I watched as her chest rose and fell with each breath she took, I watched her shirt ride up and I saw the small sliver of her creamy skin. I sucked in a breath and jerked my eyes away from her flawless body. I needed to forget. I needed to forget all about her.
"Let's go get high mate." I said impatiently as I started walking towards the back of the school where all the shit went down.
I stopped in my tracks when I saw her purple hair. What the fuck was she doing here? Why did I always have to be surrounded by girls? I hated them, I really did. I was about to walk away from the entire situation but Zayn pushed me forward practically forcing me down beside her.

"You know what you should do Li?" Sammi's high-pitched voice broke through my fogged thoughts. "You should just try finding a girl that is better then her." She trailed her finger up my thigh, my mind wasn't working properly to shove her off. Somewhere I felt like I wanted her to do that...but that was probably all the weed that had entered my brain cells.
"Oh, and how should I do that?" I asked looking down at her and smirking.
She didn't say anything. She just leaned up, took my face in between her small skinny hands, and planted her red stained lips against my slightly parted, weed-coated lips.
