I huffed as I pulled another box from the trailer. To be honest, I just really wanted to be home. Two more weeks, I told myself. Two more weeks and Danny and I would be home and then a week and a half later, we’d be getting married. Then we were going to Hawaii for a honeymoon. I had told Danny that touring was more important that a vacation, but he insisted that we go somewhere. All these thoughts put a smile on my face. I honestly couldn’t wait to be Mrs. Worsnop.
“Hello, beautiful,” Danny greeted kissing the top of my head and grabbing the boxes out of my hands. He had obviously just gotten up. He always looked adorable in the morning, well really afternoon since I don’t think he’s been up early enough to see the morning in years.
We walked into the venue and set the boxes down. “Less than a month and we’ll be married,” I commented more or less thinking out loud. He grave me a grin.
“Yeah, and then you’ll be stuck with me forever,” he replied. I couldn’t wait to be ‘stuck’ with him for the rest of our lives. I really couldn’t think of better to be with for the rest of my time on earth.
“I could never be ‘stuck’ with you,” I told him reaching up for a kiss. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist. He eventually returned the favor and kissed me back.
“Oh, you mean ‘cause if you really get sick of me, you could just divorce me,” he joked pulling away. God, he had a way with ruining the moment.
“Not what I meant,” I replied with a smile. I shook my head at his lame attempt of a joke. He bent down for another kiss.
“Hey, it’s the lovebirds,” I heard a deep voice announce behind me. I turned around already knowing who it was. Danny’s arms slowly fell down to his sides as he saw his friend Andy Biersack from Black Veil Brides. “I see we’re getting an early start on the love fest today,” Andy added jokingly. It was already 2PM, but I guess for rockstars, that was early.
“You’re just jealous you don’t have a fiancé as amazing as mine,” Danny retorted in a joking manner. He wrapped his arms back around me as my face went hot from the compliment.
“You saying Juliet isn’t amazing?” he questioned putting on a hurt look. Juliet was Andy’s girlfriend. They had been together longer than us. Juliet was always really nice to me and she was coming later today to visit Andy for three days.
“I didn’t say it, mate,” Danny replied with a grin. He let go of me and we started to hang up t-shirts. Thinking about Juliet visited made me smile again. It was always nice to have another girl on tour and I was hoping she could give me a second opinion on some wedding stuff, like the dress I had picked out and flowers. Danny practically told me everything I picked out was amazing, so I was hoping she could help me.
“When does Juliet get in, Andy?” I questioned as he leaned against the counter. He was just as helpful as Danny used to be.
“Four o’clock. So, in two hours,” he replied obviously pretty excited. Juliet was a solo artist and toured herself so her visits were limited. He had practically been counting down.
He eventually walked off to help set up something and it was just Danny and me again, which was the way I liked it. After we finished setting, I passed the time by watching the bands soundcheck, which was always fun. Soon, the door to the venue opened and a girl with long wavy blonde hair, two nose rings, and a few tattoos here and there burst through the doors. As soon as Andy saw her, he dropped what he was doing and ran over to her. He threw her arms around her and gave a her a big kiss. I laughed as I watched that scene. They were just too cute!
They immediately engaged in a deep conversation until Andy was called to do soundcheck with the rest of the band. Juliet made her way to the barricade, which was were I was.
“Cassidy! It’s so nice to see you!” she exclaimed throwing her arms around me. I chuckled and hugged her back. “Oh, and congratulations! Andy told me. Let me see the ring,” she ordered when she let me go. I laughed and held out my hand for her to examine. “It’s gorgeous,” she commented with a big smile.
“I know. Danny did a great job picking it out,” I agreed sending Danny a big smile from across the room. It’s of smiling back, he blew me a kiss and I let out a giggle.
“Did you pick out a dress yet?” she questioned excitedly. I pulled out my phone with a nod and showed her the picture of the one I wanted. “You’re gonna look beautiful,” she told me and I felt myself beam. I couldn’t wait for some more girl-to-girl contact that I had been craving lately.
